Only a matter of time before the link between paypal and eBay is broken. eBay claims to not take part in any sale, but they are clearly a participant party from start to end.

Where is the justice department in this?

You'll come up with many results, often with eBay settling. Whenever you get an email from eBay that reads, "new changes", this means eBay lost again- reason why DSRs are starting change.

The new system is going to be much worse than DSRs ever were. Remember if you are a small seller your defects will count from August 2013 to August 2014 on your first eval. I see many sellers getting the axe almost right out of the box.

But yeah, endless worth of problems but people put up with because they have no choice.

Carl Icahn is a corporate raider, specializing in hostile takeovers. He will buy up a company, strip it of its assets, leave the company crippled with debt, make a few hundred million for himself, then go on to some other company.

He's done this to US Steel, TWA Airlines, Western Union, Viacom, RJ Reynolds Tobacco / Nabisco, Texaco, Phillips Petroleum, Uniroyal, Dan River, Marshall Field's, Culligan, Samsonite, American Can, Blockbuster Video, Herbalife, and others.

When Carl Icahn says a company is "the worst run ever", it translates as "this company has valuable assets and no debt. I intend to buy the company, borrow huge amounts of money using the company's assets as collateral, then sell those assets, make a huge amount for myself, and leave the company with an enormous amount of debt and no way for that company to repay it."

Sometimes the company can find a "white knight" to purchase the company before Icahn can have his way with it. That's what happened when the Walt Disney Company bought Marvel. If something like that happens, Icahn will be forced to walk away from the company, often with only a few hundred million dollars for his troubles.

Icahn is currently interested in Apple Computer, so get ready for all Apple products to get significantly crappier and more expensive.
