curious as to why the heritage chrome cards included in this product are numbered to /1960....when the first 100 cards are numbered to /1961 ??

2010 Topps Chrome Baseball



The 2010 edition of Topps Chrome Baseball will hit stores near you the week of 9/27/10, featuring all new Chicle and T206 inserts and 2 on card rookie autographs per box! Let’s take a look at some of the details:
Base Cards:220 total, 170 veterans, 50 rookies. Parallels: Printing Plates (1/1, hobby exclusive), Super-Fractors (1/1, hobby exclusive), Red (to 25, hobby exclusive), Gold (to 50), Blue (to 199), Refractors (1 in 3 packs)
Inserts:

• Heritage: A continuation of the Chrome parallel card inserts that appeared in 2010 Topps Heritage Baseball featuring the Topps 1961 card design. Cards will be numbered starting at 101 and sequentially numbered to 1960. Parallels: Black Border (to 61), Refractors (to 561)
• Chicle: Chrome versions of the base cards from that set, numbered to 999.
• T206: 50 Chrome cards, numbered to 999
• Chicle/T206 Parallels: Printing Plates (1/1, hobby exclusive), Super-Fractor (1/1, hobby exclusive), Red (to 25, hobby exclusive), Gold (to 50), Blue (to 199), Refractor (to 499)

Its probably just a miss-type above as the document I have from Topps says numbered out of 1961.

Anyone know about certain autos being short printed in Topps Chrome. Saw on Topps Facebook page that a few were complaining about the boxes they opened had common autos but no big star autos. Sounds like the Allen & Ginter boxes where early print runs didn't have the Strasburg in them.

I placed a small order and haven't seen a shipping notice, yet. I thought they were supposed to ship yesterday or today.

If I read things correctly I can post my little break on some hobby packs I got from BO.

I recently ordered 2 boxes and 8 packs to hit that free shipping mark, one box for me one for a buddy. They were delivered today, but he was busy tonight so I opened my 8 extra hobby packs and I think I made out pretty well with a Wade Davis rc auto and a Daniel McCutchen rc auto. Also pulled a Alexei Ramirez Heritage Refractor #'d/561 and an Aramis Ramierz National Chicle #'d/999. Not too bad considering it was out of 8 packs and I still have a complete box to go through.

Me and my buddy got into the boxes and our best hits were a Blue Refractor Eric Young Jr. rc auto, a Refractor Ian Desmond rc auto, a Mike Leake rc auto, and a Hisanori Takahashi rc auto. Also a Gold Refractor Hisanori Takahashi, a T206 Stephen Strasburg, and a Blue Refractor Jesse English. That's just what I can remember off the top of my head.
