Walking Dead #127

Such a great issue. Interested to hear thoughts on the book and the story moving forward.

It still irks me that they let Negan live.This makes no sense to me.
I do like it being 2 years in the future.

I don't read The Walking Dead, but I wonder how it would read to just start with this issue as if it were just a new #1..?

I picked up a couple copies, since it's supposed to be a "hot book", so I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a second look.(I read the first trade way back in the day...)

Also, at both shops I went to today it seemed like all copies had corner issues(blunting/chipping, etc.), so 9.8's might be tough to come by, unless I was just unlucky...

I think 127 was designed to be a jumping-on point. It can't hurt to try it.

I really like the way it came together with the intro of the new group and seeing ricks group age and improve the town.

The cowboy style walker thing was cool too.

On ebay I see a different version of the regular cover with bigger "Walking Dead" lettering...does that really exist, or is that just a preview image people are using, and not the actual cover that went to print..?

The version with the bigger logo is a preview image.

There is a B&W cover Diamond Comic Distributor DCD RETAILER SUMMIT VARIANT people are asking big money for it right now. not sure if there getting it.
