He's a 21 yo kid that is probably bored as hell. If this is the worst thing people can find on him I'd say he's doing just fine. That brace has his thumb about as safe as humanly possible. I've seen them and he could run his thumb over with a truck while wearing it and not even get a cut. Not sure why people love to hate him so much.

Ok, fair enough. Why don't you think he's being smart though? That brace is awesome plus he's catching one handed anyways. I think it's great that he's at the stadium and socializing with his teammates when he could be somewhere else. Better this than out whoring, drinking or reckless driving. Kid is all good in my book. I just wish he could stay healthy.
