Hey guys,
I have been out of the football card game for a little while, and I was wondering what ever happened to the BGS 10 / 10 Passing the Torch 1999 dual on-card autos of Barry Sanders and Walter Payton? This was the Beckett story from a few years ago. ![]() ![]() Do we know who bought it? What was the final auction price? Did any other surface? Thanks. First time I've seen this card graded Pristine 10 and I don't know what happened to it, but all I can say is that is one of the...best...cards...ever...

I remember seeing the article you are talking about. I can't remember the exact number it sold for though. I do know it was well into the 5 figures but that was a few years ago.

I remember the guy used some sort of illness or pitched it as some sort of "help me with blah blah" when he was selling it. I think that's why it got as high as it did but if I remember correctly he wanted like 20k for it.
