Default EJ Manuel 2014 Season

How do you guys think EJ will perform in his second season as the Bills QB? I just picked up a base contenders auto for $25 and was wondering if the purchase will pay off. Did I get a good deal?

Type your input/predictions below. Thanks!

Well he has Jackson and Spiller and Woods, Goodwin, and Watkins split out wide. Not to mention the Bills defense is pretty good. They could be a surprise this season.

Sure hope so! Been slowly getting his chrome non-auto rainbow together.

Have everything except for Red and the Super, so that will probably be it for me.

Started buying them last year bc they were so cheap, hoping he has a few good games to start out the season so I can flip most of what I have.

He has all the weapons in the world, unfortunately practice reports haven't been very good.

Unless Brady finds the fountain of youth there is no clear cut favorite to me this year in the AFC East. The Dolphins almost made the playoffs last year and likely would have had they not lost 3/4ths of there starting offensive line. If that's fixed then Miami is in the mix for the division. Buffalo will be in the mix as well. They have one of the best defenses in the league today and an offense which is under rated with young play makers all over it. Chris Johnson and Mike Vick make the Jets spoilers this year and could eventually decide who wins it.

The casual fans out there still think the Patriots own that division and have it on lock down but the sharks are circling. No one beats Father time including Brady, Peyton, and everyone else in the league.

If the season goes the way I think it will then the AFC East will be more interesting then it has been in years. We will all witness a changing of the guard. I may be premature by a season but bank on this happening very very soon

When Buffalo upsets the Patriots you know the starting QB's prices are going to rise for a short time. I can see that contenders increase from $25 to around the high $30 low $40 mark sometime next season, which will make for a decent but not outstanding profit for you. Profit is profit and that is why your asking this right?

I think if you time it right, the Bills play the Patriots on October 12th that's your best bet to time selling it not the couple of early weeks of success. Everyone at the beginning of the season thinks that about every card they own usually, that floods the market and hampers price increases. Wait until a week before that October date to move it. Unless the wildest thing happens and the week 17 date comes into play and they are playing in a win and your in or loser goes home game. If that happens then your cards going to increase 2-3times what you paid but holding that long to me takes balls of steel. I wouldn't do that. Move it in early October and pick it back up in the off season, would be cheaper to do that

Just my opinion and I own no EJ Manuals any more. Cue the random apologetic Patriot fans to debunk my opinion now lol

Reports like this can be advantageous to anyone looking to buy, news reports like that make hands shaky and cause prices to drop. Hopefully more news reports come out like that so these guys can load the truck up for cheap

Tuel also had probably the best preseason game out of any other QB last season and everyone hyped him, and he sucked when he had to fill in for EJ. He is nowhere near as good as EJ, and as long as EJ stays healthy him and Watkins are going to have an awesome season.

Nothing personal but I'm hoping he tanks...only for the selfish reason of the Browns holding their first round pick next year. Hoping for a top ten pick (other than the usual one of their own that seems all to often to be a top pick)!

what nfl do you watch? tom brady threw for over 4,000 yards last year with an entirely new receiving core. they were 1 win away from the superbowl in a high altitude denver game......... what makes you think he needs a fountain of youth?

Welp they are going to have to score a lot of points, sounds like they lost Alonzo for a long time a major hit on their defense.

I hate to say it and most importantly somewhat agree with addicted, but Tom Brady is on the decline. I've been going to the Pats/Bills game in Buffalo for at least ten years with my high school buddy who now lives in Angola and has been a long time Bills fan. All good things must come to an end, last year after another somewhat competitive game I looked at my buddy and said, "Hey, your team is getting better and is on the rise and Tom Freakin Brady is going to have to retire at some point".

Until he does the Pats will always be the favorite to win the AFC East and continue to be in the discussion of Super Bowl contenders (yeah, yeah, I know just being in the discussion doesn't make them relevant).

At the same time, who knows what the Pats will be in two to three years, they could reload, have some unknown quarterback step into a very well run organization and dominate the AFC East and for the most part the AFC in general or they could become like the bills and wind up at the bottom of the league with a bunch of low round draft picks and still amount to nothing

It's a funny league!

a Tom Brady on the decline is better than an EJ Manuel, Ryan Tannehill, or Geno Smith on the Rise any day of the week. people kinda get lost in that fact. he's not as good as he used to be and maybe the team isn't either, but they are still better than everybody else in the division by a mile.

he performed better than any of those QB's last season, 1 win away from the superbowl against denver, with an entire new receiving core......... just step back and think about the reality of that for a second......

For this season maybe, but even your Brady can't beat Father Time and that won't always be the case. You should accept that now because his last game played is bound to happen sooner rather then later.

Tough blow for the Bills defense today, very tough break

Watching the game when he played against the Browns he looked awful. I find it hard to believe he's playing better than EJ.

It wasn't all that tough to look better than EJ last season. I didn't really like what I saw from him, but I'm hoping more time getting familiar with the offense will help him turn it around.

I'm not really worried about that at all, because when he's ready to hang it up in the next few years we have a system, high value back up qb's, and a money stack to work with. we draft well and operate well, I feel good about the future as well as the past, I mean we had bledsoe before brady, we've been solid at the QB position for the last 20 years or more. good luck w/ the RG3 project buddy..... i'll check him out when he's up the street & tell you how bad he's limping this year.

+Very good defense
+Weapons on offense

-He's on the bills
-He isn't a very good quarterback

Though, for that price you made a good investment.

Who thinks the Patriots are going to be bad after Brady retires???

As long as belicheck hangs around that is going to be a winning franchise.
