My favorite theater FINALLY posted premiere tickets on Monday. (I guess they figured out that the GOTG premiere was going to fill a few more seats than a Thursday night showing of Hercules. Heh.)

Leaving in a little bit to run some errands and swing by the comic shop before the 7:00 premiere! Excited!

No I'm in PA... we have 2 drive ins in the area and it was GotG and Captain America or GotG and Disney Nature Bears

not that i have anything against Disney Nature Bears but I think my oldest would be the only one staying up long enough for the second film and he is into super heroes... the girls would rather see Bears though lol

Agreed on that it was really good. Fun throughout the whole movie. These guys will be around for a while. Even the wifey fell in love with Rocket!

Loved it! To me, definitely one of the top movies put out by Marvel Studios.

GOTG merchandise is going to be flying off the shelves this weekend.

Just got to the drive ins.. It poured most of the afternoon so I was worried it would be a wash out... Pretty clear out now and I got a prime spot even though I was late showing up

Oh, and I'm totally calling it that there will be an animated series (probably on Disney XD) by fall 2016 at the latest.

I am not a cartoon fan, really have no desire to see a gotg cartoon
Taking the family to see GOTG next Saturday at the drive-in....the crappy part is I have to sit through Captain America before I watch it...that always bugs me. I liked the movie..both times I saw it but it's like being forced to watch it this time. if you get there later you have to park in the north 40...so they get you by the short and curlys this way. Their logic is the kids will drive you crazy and you will stuff them with concession food during the 1st movie which is why they play an older movie before the newer one

What I DID find funny is the other screen is Apes...of course it is the 2nd flick, but the FIRST flick is the new conan lol...says a lot for that movie, which I would rather be raped by a lemur than see. I liek the Rock....but he is not a conan.

Brought to you by Arnold fans

Just got back from it. Loved every second of it. So funny, so fun. Rocket was awesome, as was Groot, and Starlord, and Drax and Gamora!

I even thought the limited use of Thanos was fantastic. Great adaptation, great fun.

Best part was after the credits ended, people applauded, and then a kid up front yelled "Best Movie Ever!!"

Now that Guardians is a hit, you should Kragle your Lego Rocket to your cubicle before it "mysteriously" disappears.
