Default Best Retail Products

I'm sure that this has been previously discussed at some point, but I was just wondering; Which retail products have you found the most success with? Personally, I have pulled autos from the Bowman Chrome rack packs a couple of times, notably; a nick castellanos auto. Anybody else have any retail luck?

Kinda off-topic but are the autos in platinum on chrome card stock? or are they the same foil card stock as the base set?

Nice! Yeah I definitely go for the blasters or some configuration which isn't searchable. The bowman chrome stuff with the extra pack of refractors usually prevents this from what I can tell.

Anyone ever buy those retail buyback products? The ones from the fairfield company or whatever? I bought one for 9.99 and the planted auto was a pete rose from the leaf pete rose product. One of the topps chrome packs included also yielded a scrub red sox auto (ryan lavarnway maybe?).

I actually got more than my 9.99 on the local cardshop bidboard for these (someone actually paid like 9 bucks for the pete rose). I tried another and got a highly forgettable auto and packs of the oldest most irrelevant products ever. I was impressed the first one had chrome packs but after the second one I tried I would highly advise against these (as if you already didn't figure these were kinda lame).

Anyway just looking to share retail experiences. Thanks for the replies.

I think platinum is best bang for your buck. Autos are like 1:37; have a legit shot at good prospects too. Go with blasters or rack packs though. Stay away from loosies.

I've done one blaster ...
