Default Is this a refractor card?

It is hard to tell since some auction has the same card as refractors like.

There were no refractor versions of that card. They're a base Topps insert, not a Finest insert.

The title of the auction is misleading then. Thanks

Here is another one. The title list as refractor but the BGS slab have no mention of it as refractor. What gives?

That says Prizms (under USA Basketball) which is what Panini call the Prizm refractors. The Jordan is like a refractor but seller just added it to get more views.

Refractor is the name used by Topps.

Though it's the same exact effect, Panini uses the word Prizm, not just as the brand name, but also as the name for the parallel, so that card is a Panini Prizm Prizms.

Using "refractor" just spams their auctions into searches that people make for refractors, hoping they get an impulse bid, and they justify it by saying "oh, well it has a rainbow coating like a refractor".

Yes.

Topps (and Bowman, made by Topps) = Refractor

Panini = Prizm

Leaf = Prismatic

All cover the same basic effect, but each company has their own little brand name for it.

That isn't a refractor. It was a parallel(power booster) of the base topps. I still need pick up the Jordan, pippen and rodman.

So what is the real name and year ?
Because I didn't think Panini was doing that in 1995.

It was a regular insert in 1995/96 Topps. The Power Boosters weren't overly rare but the Jordans are obviously the most sought after ones in the set. I think they go for $20-$25 whereas most of the commons are around a buck.
