Default How to block a zero bidder?

Hi, how can I block a zero feedback bidder? He is making my auction look shilled, and I don't want to deal with the headache. It's a Jorge Soler bat that has received a lot of interest, so I'll be upset if I have to relist it. He has bid ten times already eBay.com Item Bid History

My Account - Site Preferences - Buyer Requirements - Show - Edit:

Buyers who may bid on several of my items and not pay for them
Block buyers who are currently winning or have bought of my items in the last 10 days.
----> Only apply this block to buyers who have a feedback score of xx or lower.
Consider selecting this requirement if you are selling expensive items and don't want to sell over a certain number to any single buyer. Learn more about how this requirement works.

I did it, but it won't change the existing auction now.

Yeah, it probably wouldn't. Only way I could think of that would be to rescind his bid. I'm not really a seller. So I can't help you on that. Sorry.

Put him on your block bidder list, hope someone bids higher than him. Then if he tries to bid again he can't.

you need to cancel the bids, then block.
otherwise I am pretty sure they could just increase the current bid

This does not block zero feedback bidders. This keeps them from winning more than one, however the block often glitches and will block everyone from bidding on multiple items.

Only if their proxy bid is higher. They cannot add a new bid.

However cancelling a zero feedback buyer may make other bidders think you really are shill bidding. The way it stans he only has a 53% bidding rate with you and no retractions so to me it does not scream shill just that he does not know how to bid.

I will say the most of my non-payers have hundred or thousands of feedback. Just put a strike on a buyer with over 87000 feedback last week.

I've had this happen to me multiple times. I've won cards from high volume sellers, return business only to be blocked from bidding. Or a seller who is selling many cards that interest me and I am limited to only a few of their items.

I didn't understand why someone would block a repeat and high volume buyer from providing them more business, but I have seen it. Not sure if it was in error. My feedback is near 10,000.

I'd let them bid. They don't look like a shill to me at all, just an enthusiastic newbie.

First of all. Not matter what some people said or believe. The fact is you can't automatically block zero feedback buyers.

The 2nd thing. Erase biddings from zero feedback buyers without a reason. It isn't fair. The only way you can look like a shill bidder if you have multiple bids from the buyer in different categories and his/her bidding activity has a high percent. And if you send unfair 2nd change offers to the other buyers. The worst case scenario for rare items or 1/1 items.

As seller. My experience with zero feedback buyers isn't different from a buyer with 1000s of feedback. Both are potential non-payers and feedback killers.
