Default eBay Multi Variation Listings ?

Anyone have experience doing eBay Multi Variation listings? I'm trying to set one up in the Baseball Cards category and can't seem to figure it out.

It's only available in certain categories and baseball cards is not one of them.

Hmmm. I've seen a few of them listed in the past. Unfortunately, I can't find one at the moment. Maybe the sellers listed them in a different category?

They do, but if reported Ebay will end them and possibly suspend the seller for fee avoidance. Happened to a seller on the Ebay boards several months back

It's too bad it's not in the collectibles area - it would be the bomb for bulk-listing prospect lots, for example - here's Petey Prospect - we have available 17 base autos @ $10 ea., 6 refractor autos at $17 ea., etc., etc. I'm sure they could figure out the coding and fees if they really wanted to.

I think it would be a great idea, especially for those who are set collecting and need singles from many different sets.

I've seen someone do it with MTG cards but didn't bother to see if they had placed them in the wrong category.

I'm resurrecting this thread from last year ...

There are currently over 8,000 you-pick listings under Sports Mem, Cards & Fan Shop > Fan Apparel & Souvenirs. Are there any first person accounts of eBay still cracking down on the use of this category for listing sports cards? I like the functionality of the mult-variation listing but don't want to get sideways with eBay.

If reported Ebay could take action, or they may not. Ebay is famous for enforcing one thing hard for a short time then suddenly stopping then coming back to it.
