Hey Guys,
Ran upon this on eBay today and have been looking for a retirement present for my father in law for his home office. What do you think as he is a big Mets fan? I know its more than he deserves lol David Wright 1 1 New York Mets Custom Frame Autographed and Game Used | eBay

Nice piece but can't you just make one for cheaper?

Agreed. $750 WAY too much for that.

That's a real nice piece. If it's obo I'd offer $375 on it if I were you. Most guys that put these together are willing to take 1/2 of their price.

I agree the price is a little high and more than I want to spend on a gift. Just adding it up, I think the cost would be 175-225 for the card, 200-300 for the frame, 100-150 for the autographed picture so low end cost would be $475 and high end $675. Am I wrong on these estimates?

It's a nice piece. It's your father-in-law, so drop the cash. I'd say the MLB certified photo is worth at least $100-$150, then the card is worth $100, then the framing is $200, so if you get it for $400, it's fair.

If he won't lower the price, steinersports always has nice stuff.

I dunno. I understand the framing costs money (although my Grandfather does it for me for free), but the card as mentioned is a $75ish card. The 8x10, I'm sorry, but what's with all the logos on the bottom? That's way too noisy for my taste.
