Only if you show me the data and the model, then I will start to analyze it. Before that, there are tons of modeling in publics that actually prove nothing. Does the data only include American? Does the result favors to high pick players because they have better confidence? Does the result factor in kids who come from richer family and don't need to worrying about higher pick(hence, more money)?

This article basically said nothing.
