Default Melvin Gordon In the Pros?

Bust or the real deal? After what Im seeing today from him, I think he has a chance to be a "star" RB. Not sure if he will be elite and set records but he does look good.

Waste of a pick Packers have more needs then to add to RB. Plus he will be gone by pick 32.

Best fits are Atlanta, Minn, SD, Clev (second first rounder)

balt, sd, det, car i think r all more potential fits being a late first rounder (with the exception of sd) and all needing a hb pretty badly. mg3 would b perfect in balt with that oline and volume. only way i think minn/atlanta go after him is in the 2nd round cuz they have way too many other needs to ake him as a top 10 pick.

Gordon reminds me of Lacy. Not a ton of speed but guy is a tank and takes several guys to tackle him.

i disagree, he may b the best coming out since ap, but hb is a lot more undervalue now compared to when ap was coming out. hbs just arent as important in the nfl anymore. so i dont see him as a top 10 pick. i think hell b a first rounder, which is high praise in todays nfl.

Gordon has plenty of speed. Much more talent than Lacy had coming out of college ball.

He is a mixture of Demarco and Lacy or Lacy and Hill.

Doubt it he needs like 100 more yards. Second most yards in a season though is something to be proud of.

Would love to see the texans take him, blue is just a short yard guy an you don't know if foster will play week to week. He hits the hole like lightning and would really fit what the texans do.

Gordon finished with 2,587 yards this year 41 yards behind all time single season record.

It depends on the offensive line he has in front of him. Is he good enough to maneuver on his own? Probably not.

That is where I disagree, the good teams always seem to have a running game. The media and stats may show that its a "passing" league but look at what happens to passing teams in the big games.

that just furthers my point. a lot of teams have a passing attack to make the pos, that in turn generates a late first round pick by making the pos. they then need a running attack to compliment that passing attack, and thats y they go later. teams build around a wr over a hb, hbs come and go more often and have a shorter shelf life. the league helps the passing game with all the over the field hits, late hits to qbs, roughing passer etc. the hb just isnt as important til u find out in the pos, in which case those teams would get a hb in the late first (like i stated).

examples: packers couldnt do it with only around, got lacy in 2nd round. denver realized peyton cant carry it all, got ball and now has tried to rely on the rush going into the pos. pats have become more run heavy b/c tom brady cant carry it all, only after these teams have lost in the pos have they gone out and went after hbs (with their later picks). and look at the top 10 teams picking, most of them need a qb/ defensive pass rush. a hb isnt priority to any of those teams.

edit: but we wont know til the draft, cuz for whatever dumb reason, pro days > on the field performances. regardless, i think we can both agree, he has the potential to be a monster and force in the league from the get-go.

I've read Tevin Coleman is the best back in the B1G but Gordon is more hyped because he plays for a bigger school.
