1778 German Bible

Martin Luther Translation

Gothic Black Letter (Font)

Leather Hard-Cover with Metal Clasps/Corner Pieces

Printer: Verlaq Emmanuel Thurneysen

Printed (Published): Basel, Germany

Condition: Leather is worn but good for time period. All 8 metal corner pieces (front and back) are still present however there are chips missing out of a few of them. Metal clasps holding book together still present in very solid condition. Binding of book still pretty decent, only the first 4 pages are removed from the binding but all pages are still in the book. This is my first attempt at selling a book, especially of this age, so PLEASE CONTACT ME with any questions!

I have had this appraised twice in the last 3 months and the two appraisal price ranges were $1,000-$1,250 and $1,200-$1,500
