Default Upper Deck Avenger Age of Ultron???

I see it has a March release date...probably will be pushed back I'm guessing...anyone know of any confirmed signers yet? It's intriguing if they get some of the big players..

I spoke to Chris Carlin at an Upper Deck event at my LCS about this. He told me they had recently hired someone who has a good track record at getting some of the actors that are harder to sit down and sign cards. I dunno if they'll have time to get some of the bigger names. I was also sure to tell him how disappointed I was about the whole Chris Evans sell sheet fiasco for Captain America The Winter Soldier. Fingers crossed.

On the original sell sheet for Winter Soldier, there was an autographed relic of Chris Evans. Of course Evans didn't sign for the set, and only 5 actors wound up signing, Smulders, Atwell, GSP, Cooper, and Sebastian Stan.

Looking at Amazon, all the AoU related books are coming out in May. Can't imagine this set will be out this month, maybe late April

I tried to get an update on the release date from UD via Twitter, but all they'd say is "they were working on the details"

Seriously though, how hard would it be for card companies to keep collectors up to date with a release calendar on their website or blog or something ?

I posted something to the wrong thread, but you can't just delete it. Have to leave 10 characters in it's place...

It's not difficult. Other smaller companies do it. It's just that they don't have to, so why bother? It's not like you are going to boycott the product because of this. They know exactly what they can get away with.

True, but it would probably help people commit to presells and the like if they were actually kept in the loop a bit...

I don't disagree with you. I really wish they would be better about sharing information. But they have no incentive to do so. In fact, if they were more open about stuff, some of their sets would probably suffer from a pre-sale point of view. Fact of the matter is, even the weaker Marvel Movie products (think CA:WS where none of the main characters signed) are doing pretty decently.

The dealers direct UD account page has the release in May...it's actually been May for a while now...it'll be release in conjunction with the movie....I believe May 6th is the date on the account page.

number of packs dropped from 24 to 20 I believe so, I think that accounts for the price drop wholesale side.

For the most part, from a distributor if you have a brick and mortar store (UD requirement)
