Adreian Payne to Minnesota

Minnesota will likely send a 2017 first-round pick to Atlanta in the Adreian Payne deal, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Not a huge trade by any means. But two things can come of it.

More playing time for Payne in Minny and Atlanta opens a roster spot for maybe Ray Allen?

So basically Mo Williams + Some Scrub + 1st Round Pick for Gary Neal + Adreian Payne + 2nd Rounder

League changing stuff

Yes I realize there are bigger issues involved

i like ray allen as a player, think he's kind of a title team jumper which i don't like. but i don't see him helping that team get over the hump. i would think you'd see him in SA, Chicago or Cleveland before anything else.

From a collecting point of view it may be interesting for Payne. He wasn't going to get a chance to showcase himself in Atlanta this year but could be in for some game time in Minny.
