Default Man in LeBron Heat Jersey Shows Up at Cleveland Indians Game, Gets Thrown Out (NSFW)

Classless fans, but also the guy wearing the jersey had to know he wouldn't be well received. Some off-color language in the article, video.

Classless fans?!? There have been countless Yankee fans wearing their gear at the series all week long. None of them have been escorted out despite likely taking some verbal assault from fans. (Well, I'm sure maybe a couple have, as you'd have at any game... but not all of them) Why? They didn't get into any physical disputes with anyone. This guy has every right to wear the jersey, but if you're going to do that, sit there and take the verbal heat you get. Don't stand up and taunt and provoke the fans around you and initiate physical contact with them! If I wear a Browns jersey to a Steelers game at Heinz field, I expect a certain amount of ribbing, and not all of it will be good natured. But if I stand up and get in the face of those people and start fights, I deserve to be thrown out. This guy knew what he was in for, and provoked the fights that happened. He got what he was looking for... attention. He also got what anyone starting fights would get... thrown out. He wasn't thrown out for wearing a LeBron jersey.

Exactly. Wearing any jersey that's not the home team to their stadium is going to cause flack. Has always been that way. When the Yankees were in LA to play the Dodgers a few weeks back,we caught all types of flack for the games we were there in Yankee gear.

You laugh, you deal with it,and when you're on the right side, you just point to the scoreboard,or do what my son did with his t-shirt and told the Dodger fans to count the rings

The article suggested that he did nothing to provoke the harrassment. If he was doing anything like that then that's my bad.

The funny thing is, one of the main altercations that got this guy kicked out was some pushing and shoving with a guy wearing Yankees gear. A friend of mine in the the bleachers a few sections away was telling me via text that Yankees and Red Sox fans were fighting, and how funny it was that this fight would happen in Cleveland when the Red Sox weren't even playing. I guess from a distance he thought the guy was wearing Red Sox gear. But he later saw his mistake, that is was actually the guy wearing a LeBron heat jersey with red sleeves underneath.

You're a tool when you wear a completely irrelevant jersey. I hate when people wear baseball jerseys at hockey games, vice versa, whatever. Doesn't make sense one bit.

What rock have you been hiding under? You've obviously never been to a Football game.

Yell at your parents for sheltering you!

I dont know why this is a big deal, you get these nutjobs that show up to every game wearing a jersey to try to draw attention to himself thinking he is "cool"...well this guy found out how "cool" he is....he deserved everything he got

see how long you last in the dawgpound wearing a steelers jersey....

I think that is pretty funny. I can understand that Cleveland's whole "omg Lebron betrayed us" thing is still fresh in their minds but seriously? Isn't this pushing it a little? This reminds me of the clips on sportscenter of people crying when they found out Lebron went to Miami and saying they "had nothing to live for." It's a lot of angst being directed at anything and anyone that gets in their way.
