I screwed up. Michael Jordan bagged set

One was listed just as I got on Ebay. Was listed for $2250 or best offer. Description wasn't that great so I messaged him for more info. He didn't get back to me and it ended up sellinG and I missed out on a great price. I should have just bought the dumb set then waited for him to answer questions. I will add pictures and hopefully you guys will tell me it was fake lol

In today's market, that price for a bagged 101 was an absolute steal. Should have just hit the button. But I do know what you mean on the best offer option as we all have foolishly lost deals by trying to get too cheap or greedy. Live and learn.

Don't feel too bad.I don't think it was an astronomical steal. Maybe a few hundred cheaper than it should have gone, but the pic made it look like there might be corner damage.

Lmao that's exactly what I asked him in the message. I wasn't going to pay that much for a dinged corner. But the one picture it looked good but the picture your talking about had me question the purchase. :/

He was showing you that the auction you missed wasn't such a huge steal. One listed auction style with better pictures sold for just a few hundred dollars more.

Thanks, that actually makes me feel better. All I have been thinking about the past few days was not buying that card when I had the chance.

At that price, I would have definitely taken the gamble. I wish I saw it earlier. Especially with eBay/Paypal protection, it's a free looksie. I think you are trying to seek others opinion here to convince yourself otherwise.

Let's put it this way. If it was listed right now, right this moment, hypothetically the same item, would you seriously have to think about hitting the 'button' ? I guarantee you that someone else would have brought it while you think.

It would grade a 7 or 7.5 because of the centering alone meaning the buyer way overpaid.
