Ok, going through a little bit of withdrawl and need to get some sort of baseball product to break.
Anyone have some suggestions of something I can get to break and be mildly entertained while doing it? |

I meant besides those. That's why I said "baseball product".

I've had a little extra money this summer so I bought:
1 A&G hobby box - got zilch -$90.00 1 2004 SP Prospects box - got zilch -$154.00 2 2007 Bowman Chrome - got zilch -$160.00 So with my remaining fun money I decided to refocus and buy singles. To keep the gambling aspect I bought (here and there) 15 Joba Chamberlain eTopps RRO Rookies for an average 20 bucks each. It was almost as exciting as opening a box and the thrill gets stretched out over time. Every moment he plays, I hope he doesn't get hurt. Every successful inning, I get thoughts of massive profits in my NY area. If he makes it clean to the off season, he'll be hot, very hot. Best Always, Vinny PS: buy boxes if you collect, I don't, I like turning things over.

I admit, I like collectibles for the action. Buying, selling, prospecting, gambling, etc., are parts of the fun. I will say that being older than many here I just can’t justify sticker autos. Give me a nice on-card auto and I feel that little connection to the signer. |
