Just lost the 2010 Bowman Thole super auction by $10.

That's twice I've fallen short on trying to get that card. Third time is a charm, right?

Did you get sniped? Or $10 out of your budget?

Feel sorry for ya bud. That thing went for quite a bit more than I expected it to. Maybe it will show up again for ya.

He's hitting 300 with a couple hrs, could be our future starting catcher. I think you were smart to collect him. Are you planning to sell if values go way up?

When I see a Raymond Berry Auto I don't have, I always bid 100-200% above what it should sell for.

Should sell for $30, I bid $110 to make sure I get it.

The pain of losing it is worse than the pain of a few extra bucks. Plus, when you get the card, the pain of the few extra bucks subsides and you're happy you did it.

I have learned a few hard lessons lately by not putting my max bid in. Lost 3 really nice Chipper patch autos that I would have paid more than what the winning bid was because I got sniped. Sorry for your luck

Just keep being persistent I guess. I lost a fare share of Joe Flacco SPA and LeSean McCoy Exquisite cards before I finally won some.

Ya, but he is looking for a Super, not exactly 725 of them running around.

No you email the seller and beg them to end the item early because you are a serioius buyer.

Sounds like something Madbacker would do. However, I do not see this as ethical.

Only on things that I have a feeling will skyrocket. It's a wonderful feeling, nabbing something at a fraction of it's retail price.

Want to hear the best part? She had "faith" in her Ebay name so I ended my message with "God Bless" even though I'm an Atheist!

I LOVE IT!

Frappe's & Smoothies are almost selling more often than fries, and Summer business is quick. Looking forward to my vacation coming up in September.
