If my memory serves me right, the hobby bowman chrome is way better than the retail. Is that right? (Do you even get one auto per retail box?)
Now I also seem to remember that for Bowman chrome DRAFT, that the retail is just about as good as the hobby. Can anyone verify either or both of these statements? Thanks! |

Was looking at boxes of Bowman Chrome BB retail today when I picked up my TC and UD football boxes and its a joke compared to hobby.
Same price as I paid for hobby but no guaranteed auto ? 24 pks of 3 cards vrs. 18 pks of 4 with an auto HMMMMMMMM....... tough decision there.

I'm not asking about retail being better. I am asking if retail takes a very small backseat to hobby, or a very large one (for these two products).

Tim, Bowman Chrome completely depends on the Rookie Non -Auto checklist. You get 1 Rookie per pack in both products (18 H 24 R) but aren't guaranteed an Auto in retail. This year Chrome has no Box topper so that is a wash. #'d cards are at least 1 per retail box. So if there are high end prospects, non auto, then I always go retail, but not this year unless Price is really low (under $50??).
Bowman Draft is IMO a no Brainer retail, there is an auto per box and same # of Rookies, and usually No box topper in Hobby anyway. To answer your ? BC Retail will take a HUGE backseat to Hobby this year IMO Shawn Last edited by ssc8734; 08-30-2007 at 02:14 PM. |
