How is Charles better than Forte? There is not one metric that states that

We're talking facts here, people.

Overall than you can certainly argue Jamaal is better than Forte but since this is a topic about receiving RBs you gotta give the nod to Forte.

I'll take Chris Ivory over all of them.

Punishing, hard runner who always gets three extra yards while falling.

Edit: I obviously missed the word "receiving" in the title....I'd go with Forte.

Lance Dunbar

I mean the guy is leading all RB's in receiving yards and catches this year

True... since apparently that's all that matter when deciding best receiving RB.

I'd give Shane Vereen a mention too.

Well its a good place to start...sorry my biased sarcasm in that post wasn't really evident. I would take Matt Forte, think he had like 100 + catches last year, for an RB that is impressive.

It's very impressive. He was also targeted more than most WR's in the league.

For any player that is impressive.

For any player with Cutler throwing them the ball that is almost impossible.

Really tough to say. One thing you also have to consider is that Charles and Forte are both three-down backs, whereas someone like Sproles is literally the definition of a receiving back in that he's only playing on 3rd downs. I've seen all three of those guys play, and while Forte catches the most balls, Charles and Sproles are terrifying once they get the ball in their hands. I've seen both do some remarkable things in the receiving game. I think I'd have to give a very slight edge to Charles just because he can line up at WR as well and still be an option for the team. Sproles gets flexed out sometimes, but he's normally only catching it out of the backfield.

I'll say best receiving back is Jamaal Charles, but the most explosive back would be Darren Sproles. Still so glad we traded for him
