Default TNF: Indianapolis Colts v. Houston Texans

Andrew Luck is officially out per Schefter.

Who do you have?

I will take the Arian Foster led run game in a close one.

Have money on the Colts as a PK. We need Andrew Luck to start. Right now it's sort of oa 50/50.

Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck is starting tonight, per source. No Andrew Luck again.

Per roto

Quote:
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Andrew Luck (questionable, shoulder) is expected to miss Thursday night's game against the Texans.

Rapoport said Luck will test his arm before the game, but the plan is for Matt Hasselbeck to start. Hasselbeck played well against the Jaguars last week, but Luck sitting is a downgrade for all the Colts' skill players. With 10 days off before the Patriots in Week 6, this should be the last game Luck is forced to miss.

Regardless, Houston's defense has been far from spectacular. I think the Colts will kick a bunch of field goals. But Arian should run all over that depleted Colts D. 27 - 23 texans

Yeah there is no 50/50, just came across ESPN. He is out. And they will lose.

Schefter also tweeted out that Hasselbeck was in the ER until 2am on Wednesday dealing with a virus. He won't be playing at 100% either.

Alfredo Blue is probably the only guy I would play if I was playing FF.

World from Houston is that Hasslebeck may not start either. Having real trouble this morning ... may have to go w/ Josh Johnson.

Gonna be a brutal game to watch.

The Colts QB situation doesn't worry me from a betting standpoint. The lack of Vontae Davis and DeAndre Hopkins playing for TEX is more worrisome. He'll probably get 20 targets and go bananas. Colts offense will score points. Colts defense will allow points. I would wait for the line to drop to its lowest point hopefully under 40 and grab the over.

According to Stampede Blue, Colts blog, Hass is expected to start. We'll see. If it's Josh Johnson, I'm expecting to see a lot of Frank Gore and Josh Robinson.

Report: Matt Hasselbeck expected to start for Colts on Thursday night - Stampede Blue

T'was a few hours ago, things have changed since.

Wonder if the Colts can just forefeit a week and get two weeks off because the Patriots crush 'em.

being a texans fan i hope they win tonight. that being said I think they will win based on the multiple players the colts will be missing. they have little to speak of in a running game and defense is not good. The Texans will tee off on whoever the qb is and blitz all night long.

I didn't think Luck would play until next sunday night against the Pats. I think the Texans win this one 23-20.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Texans won. Hasselbeck is suffering from a virus and Josh Johnson was jobless a week ago. This could be ugly with Vontae Davis nursing an injury, too.

Lots and lots of Gore and Robinson, please. The optimistic side of me is saying, Josh Johnson can make some things happen and manage a good game is Hasselbeck can't go. The realistic side of me is saying Indy is in deep trouble.
