Can't really complain about any of those picks.

Although Martin had a great year, I thought Freeman or Gurley would've been picked over him.

I think the few injuries hurt Freeman, and same goes for Gurley missing the first part of the year. Martin was 2nd in rushing, so I'm glad he got it.

The other two will make 2nd team.

JULIO!!! Josh Norman should be removed based on his antics alone. Julio says thanks for helping with the stats this year. Enjoy the playoffs Panthers fans

I think it's pretty awesome Eric Berry made the list after what he went through last year.

^^^this!

Though I have to ask-if Mack supposedly made it at both de and lb shouldn't there be one fewer lb selection? Seems to me like there aren't usually 5 linebackers selected. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought it was 12 offensive spots and 12 defensive spots.

Looks like they counted him in the DE spot.

Is it always 4 DBs (rather than 2 CB/2 S)? I know Tyrann can probably be classified as both, but I'm not sure how that works.

Should of made it on the first team over Mack at DE (Makes no sense to give two all pro first teams to one guy), at least he made the 2nd team I guess.

I think it is basically 4 defensive backs in any combination. It was my understanding that it was 4 defensive linemen, 4 linebackers, and 4 db's to account for both 3-4 and 4-3 style defenses. But if Mack was among the top 4 d linemen AND linebackers, whoever the 5th linebacker in vote getting was, he should not be an all pro. If Mack made it at both, he should be listed at both. It is quite a feat that he made it at both spots, they shouldn't have added another guy, that seems to cheapen it a bit to me.

Exactly....why have Mack take up two spots. Watt and Ziggy at DE....Mack at LB. Ah well...we know Ziggy is a good one regardless.

he doesnt actively play two spots on the field...they dont have just 10 guys on field cuz Mack plays both DE and LB...i just think pick one...he is not both...it would be like Forte making it at RB and WR the year he had like 100 catches...

well he isnt both a rb and wr...he is a rb who catches balls...

Agreed.... But you and I didn't vote for it 😀 They're making a big deal about Mack making it at both spots, yet they essentially named an extra pro bowler because of it. Doesn't seem right. Kind of like a couple years back in nascar when they added Jeff Gordon into the chase because Clint boyer's wreck cost him a top 12 spot so they just had 13 drivers in the chase that year.

Freeman dealt with injuries. Gurley was too inconsistent towards the end of the season and might have hurt his OROY chances. Doug Martin is absoutely the right choice.

Ziggy doesn't get a lot of hype, guys.

Making the All-Pro team is as much about hype as it is about actual production.

Lot of politics going on with Pro Bowl rosters, All-Pro teams, etc. If you don't think so, you're naïve.

Some incredible comeback stories on defense:

DT - Geno Atkins - Cincinnati Bengals
LB - Navarro Bowman - San Francisco 49ers
LB - Thomas Davis - Carolina Panthers
CB - Tyrann Mathieu - Arizona Cardinals
S - Eric Berry - Kansas City Chiefs

Awesome, Khalil Mack first player in NFL History to make ALL PRO at two different positions!

If the best punter is also the best kicker in the league...That player would earn 2 All-Pro spots. Same theory applies with Mack. He's obviously better than most teams DE and LB positions. It's as simple as that...
BTW
"Mack spent significant time at both defensive end and outside linebacker this season, playing 467 snaps down on the line and 439 snaps at linebacker."

I agree to a point, but since he's not playing each position 80%+ of the time, how does that work?

Theoretically Rob Gronkowski could get in as TE and WR if he lines up wide enough of the time (assuming he had the numbers to make it, i.e. his 2011 season)?

Dominant edge rusher, stuffs the run, drops back into coverage give him both positions!
