Ok guys, long story short......I'm starting a new Grant Hill PC. I used to have a pretty nice collection of Grant Hill cards. I got to a point in 2010 that I had to sell them. Since then I have been primarily been doing the whole Baseball prospecting thing(which I have thoroughly enjoyed). Now I am back at collecting Hill and likely busting a ton of 90's boxes. I am mainly focusing on 90's cards. If anyone has anything available, please let me know. So, here is the first card in my new PC. It is one that I had never had previously and am thrilled to have it be the beginning of my PC:

I could put together a lot of nearly all his base cards (150+/-) from the 90's and 30-50 low end inserts. Pm if interested. Thanks

wooow that is a beauty man. Super rare gold card is a great start to the Hill PC. I have a soft spot for the Starquest card's, and think they don't get enough love.

I got in a pretty rare Hill for my PC today. Won it on Ebay early this week and it just got here. I have a few more smaller items coming in this week and hopefully one HUGE card next weekend.

Mother of images. I am not sure what I did to make them appear so big. I am in the process of switching from Photobucket to Imgur and that didn't end to well. Let me see if I can reduce the size of the images.
Edit*** There, those images look much better than the huge ones that I put there previously

Guys, i'm thinking about sending my Hill cards to PSA for encapsulation. I don't care about the grade but just want them authenticated and protected. I am a big fan of PSA on anything prior to 2000 anyways. I would use BGS but I don't like the look of their authentic tag in the case.
Dumb idea or does it sound like a good idea?

Very nice cards so far. I am still looking to add an Ewing star quest gold. If you haven't gotten any cards slabbed yet for the pc and plan on uniformity, I suggest just doing psa since that's what you like. Personally I like high graded cards to be bgs slabbed because I like the gold labels.
If you are worried about damaging your high end cards and want them protected OR you think they will grade out nicely go for the slab. It is all about personal preference.

Thanks. Its one of the few Upper Deck cards that I wanted. It was one that I did not have in my collection previously and knew I had to have it when it came across Ebay.

really nice PC!
Grant Hill was such a superstar talent for 6 or so years. He was basically the finesse version of Lebron back in the game, he really had the potentially to be up there among the greatest of all-time. Hope that you have a 1994 Finest Refractor RC for him, and better yet in PSA 10. I have been hunting those for ages. |

By the way just want to add that I'm so glad to see an addition to the pool of 90s player collectors focusing on 90s cards, this is the best part of the hobby for me. Best of luck on adding more and building a monstrous collection, you're already off to a good start. Can't wait to view more as the collection grows.
