Just going to rant for a minute...you ever notice that when you don't have any money/paypal that all the cards you want are out there for sale for a good price but you cant get them and when you do have money, those same type cards are nowhere to be found? It drives me crazy!!!!! Lmao!!!!!!

oh yes sir, got 2 flights on one and $500 on the other, just paid them off in fact, every time I said I would stop my ISOs popped up, then Immaculate. Financial relief the Patriots did not go to the SB, was going to go if they did and also go bonkers on memorabilia like last year if they won. No regrets though because most of the ones I got never come up or come up for much more, so I am going to relax from now until end of year, with exception of NT and any high end Topps remaining.

Yeah, I am hunting Immaculate and NT now, I am a sucker for the logos, gloves, and patches. I love those Immaculate Fours patches, trying to collect the set.

I would say, within reason, to get the real top ISOs you have regardless of situation. That is what CCs are for, so long as you do not pile anything on top of it. I was looking for a few Brady's that never come up and even though it was around the holidays I had to grab em. Not that it has been long but they have not come up since and there are so few of them I do not want to wait and pay more later. I have no other spending habits so it was ok for me.

This is the key.

You can build a great collection these days if it is your only real vice. And, if you do it right, it's something you can pass forward. So it's not a total waste, like a $300 bar tab, even if it dramatically depreciates.

Just wish companies would quit producing so many different products....

I dont think your gonna lose much money investing in Brady cards. Thats actually a smart move.

yea man, I am shifting my focus to some of more basic cards, a few on card autos and Brady RCs I never got. After that I am slowing way down and just getting a few 80s and 90s RCs that I never grabbed, the heavy lifting is done thankfully.

agree, his cards are pretty low QTY for the most part which should help keep prices decent over time, and I cannot see his top grade on card autos and RCs depreciating, not that I would ever want to get rid of them anyway
