ok, thanks
I did not follow TN much between May-Oct, and thought wow, I know 2 guys that did the set (with the Ichiro /10 autos) and was thinking they should break it up and sell, although I knew they wouldn't

Just a late night shot in the dark as the last post made me think about them. Anyone looking to sell and ichiro /10 auto?

Yes if anyone is looking to sell it...I'm in the market as well!

Also want the Pujols...the only two I don't have.

Can't imagine what someone would be asking for the Ichiro...I think the Pujols sold for about $700 on eBay (lower then what it cost to buy from Topps I think)

I'm sure you can work a trade. There are two of us on here that picked them up.

I am still in need of two for my UFC set and I'm interested in the Tommy Joseph's in the Rookie set:
UFC 204-A Gegard Mousasi 83
UFC 204-B Michael Bisping 91

Or either of these PL Topps Now Cards...I missed those as well.
3 Ashley Barnes 129
4 Zlatan Ibrahimovic 225

I do have one of each of those available. Still can't believe I missed them. Not quite sure how that happened.

What do you all do when you send a guy a card and he says it has a scratch on it so he can't grade it. Guy wants a partial refund...I smell BS but I'm guessing eBay makes me take returns even though the auction say no refunds.

If the scratch is not visible from the picture you posted on listing, then I think you are obliged to accept the return/refund.

I wonder if there would be any interest in a 50 card MLS set. If so, I wonder how much it would realistically go for.

I would move one for the right price, but again, what's the right price? There are so few of them out there, even in singles, it's hard to gauge a value.

It wasn't mentioned in the explanation...because I didn't notice it. But now that I see the card and zoom in on it...it's plain as day there is a scratch.

I thought about this as well...there are few buyers but the time might be right come December when the championship game goes off...If at auction below $199.50 ($3.99 a card) I'd be a bidder...

What moron would offer it anywhere near that price? There has to be what, 5 or 10 cards that sell individually for $15-$25 or more. (I've seen some go off at $99.99 though I wonder about that.)

I'll be bidding against you if I see some idiot putting them out at that price.

That is why I said I'd be bidding on it at that price...not BIN...It actually be a good price to start at to get buyers nibbling at it. See it would have you and me in a bidding war in the very least. If you put it up starting at $499.99, how many do you think will be jumping on that? Even if some of them go for $99.99? If you want to know what I think it's worth you can just look at the prices they are up for on eBay. I think the #43 card alone is going to be worth $499.99 all by itself.

FYI: I've sold two #39's at the $99.99 price (mentioned up thread and can be verified on eBay). One that is paid for and shipped and one that the guy contacted me about paying a little later. So there is nothing to wonder about on those....unless of course you don't believe me.

I see your logic, but starting an item like that so low is really rolling the dice. I wouldn't start it a penny below $499.99, and even that would be questionable in my opinion. What happens if there are only 2 people interested? You end up selling it for $325 and almost lose money.

Why did anyone pay $99.99 for #39? What am I missing here? I mean, I have 5 of them, so it sounds good to me. Just can't figure out why.

And this is why we have not put up the set...and most likely won't.

I am still looking at the complete baseball set that is up right now and it is sitting way low if you ask me. Just don't think any of these will sell very well as a set.... I mean it is at $6.70 a card right now...who wants to invest that much? Few I think....
He's not losing money though...he is just leaving money on the table. I think in the end in closes out under $7K or $9.99 a card. These are still better to be sold individually

he just chose a bad time to list. Everyone is tapped out after world series. And the listing period should have been much longer. Next summer before All-Star break is the best time to have listed this IMO.

Cool cards, but no thanks. Way too expensive. I'm also not a fan of the photo they used for the Trout auto.
