Rookie cards have literally always been event worn. It is what it is. I do still stay away from nameplate cards with letters that aren't in the players name. That's just too weird for me.

Flawless has some game worn rookie stuff.

Yep, buy the Matthew Slater or Matt Lengel jersey on the cheap and use that Brady cards. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they paid a low level team rep to wear a jersey and stand on the sidelines for a game. He/She could even swap it out every quarter. Whalla!! Game worn jerseys.

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure in 2014 they all said "Game Worn" for Rookies then they claimed it was a mistake!!!!!!!

Pretty big MISTAKE!!!!!

NOT TRUE.

2006 National Treasures had GU'd pieces in the RC set. No one cared and crowned Exquisite best, so Playoff made a decision and made the RCs on card autos instead of GU'd.

There's also several RCs over the years released by UD that featured GU'd pieces. 2005 Aaron Rodgers UD cards are all GU'd. The Cutler and Colston in 06 Exqusite are GUd college swatches.

They still used player-worn stuff for non-rookies from 2-3+ years ago. Would be nice if they at least could get some game-used stuff for Flawless like they do with basketball. I'm sure it's a little tougher to get stuff since they play far fewer games than basketball, but for what they charge on some products, it would be nice if they made an effort.

Thats why older GU cards still hold their value. Even early 2000s were all game worn. Until the companies figured out how to fleece everyone on the jersey cards of course. Thats why I only collect autographs and sometimes you have to wonder about those as well. With these stickers especially- who really knows whos signing them

I love the old game used cards that had a picture of the game used item on the back of the card.
