Love the Brett Kinneman pick for the Bucs in the 7th round. He probably should have gone a lot higher.

JJ Schwarz to Oakland in the 8th round! I remember when people thinking he was a 1-1 candidate after his freshman year.

Hit bat wasn't good last year but he was still listed in the MLBPipeline top 200. This year I don't think he was listed in the top 200 but he hit .325 with 12 HR's.

Just wanted to give a shout to Yankee fans and say they are getting a great kid in 9th round pick Mick Vorhoff. His pop and I go way back, and I can tell you that this guy loves the game. High character guy and very smart player.

Quick story about him, During his Freshman year he closed out a big game for GCU and was given the game ball. Later at a get together with family he found out my son is a big baseball kid. What did this guy do? He gave my boy the game ball with a signature. The ball still sits proudly with my sons other prized possessions.

Mick is a really great kid and i'm so happy for him. I'm a lifelong A's fan, but I will be rooting for the Yanks whenever Mick takes the mound.
