eBay has had and will continue to have ZERO involvement in this, until the federales start asking for info.

There's another good one too. Can't find it atm.

I guess I can go with Probstein but talking to him and his staff is like talking to Bill Belichick. POOR COMMUNICATION.

Good luck getting them back. Some guy on Net54 had to buy a card he accidentally sent to them back after they refused to return it to him.

What that makes no sense? How do you buy a card that you already own?

But there's an ocean between writing a 250-word puff piece here and there and putting the entire corporation at risk by committing an illegal act. Not happening. eBay is not aiding PWCC is any kind of cover up.

He asked for the card to be sent back to him before it was listed. PWCC refused and listed it. He had to bid on it so he could keep the card.

As the great abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison said, and it applies to the detectives here (ok a little over the top but what the hell):

I am in earnest — I will not equivocate — I will not excuse — I will not retreat a single inch — AND I WILL BE HEARD.”

Good morning....

That is correct as someone stated I do live in Hawaii, Kauai to be specific..

To answer your questions about the buyers information, yesterday afternoon. Ebay shut off our API feed. In order for us to get it restored again we needed to remove the buyers information listed on our site.

We rely on that feed for everything we do and can't function without it. We are in good standing with them. We do not scrap data and can not operate without that feed.

Hope this answers your questions.
Never commit an illegal act for PWCC, huh?

So.... you didn't want to type a response but I'm lazy because I didn't want to go read a thread and try to read your mind to decipher what part of it you meant for me to interpret as yours? Solid logic.

You're seriously comparing VCP to eBay?

Yeah. Still highly suspect they've got their own in-house "conservation" shop, but I'll let you know another day.

Don't forget the work done on the '52 Mantle that started this vintage stuff was most done before PWCC and Moser touched it.

Brent has openly talked about finding a professional conservers to work with in the future (Cardboard Chronicles interview). Here are the cliff notes

Quote:
…for those of you who are not aware I do encourage people to look into these other markets around conservation…look into PCGS and look at their the services they offer around conservation. PCGS is the coin side of collecting universe PSA’s Big Brother….these are mature markets and they offer conservation as a service prior to grading… and also look at CGC which is the comic grading giant and the services that they offer around conservation…they steam press and dry clean all the comics before their holder and that's just considered conservation they also offer restoration services where items are recolored and corners are rebuilt and pages are restructured, and then obviously in the fine art industry…the act is even using a more invasive in terms of their ability of rebuilding paintings and doing all sort of stuff … I think in trading cards we very much need a similar service…and I will tell people I am in the works of trying to find a quality conservation service the general public can access we are looking into that
