Anyone's LCS getting or get retail? I'm waiting to hear from mine when his comes in. He didn't get any Hobby but has a bunch of retail coming. I've hit up a couple Walmart and Target near me but no luck.

Ran to Target (Knoxville, Ray Mears Blvd.) to get some V-Day stuff/see if anything was hiding. No Optic, doesn't even look like it has made it to the store yet. They had put some Donruss fat packs out since I went there last week. Grabbed the only five that didn't clearly have fingernail marks on the pack.

Yay I'm now buying retail Donruss.

It blows my mind that people are paying near prizm prices for this stuff... must be the Zion effect... I look at Luka Prizm rcs sell around 70... his optic sell like 35-40?

0/10- Targets and Walfarts East Metro, better get back to real work to pay for my gas this morning.

Not the same paying 2nd hand prices, but might have to just to get a taste for the product.

Same here, I have some cases coming in tomorrow from Lcs of Blasters and Megas, He said the Cellos were delayed , same thing happened with Prizm. Good thing because I have had no luck in my area finding them. Want to open some

From what I've seen so far, the front centering seems to be fairly good. However the back is like Russian Roulette. On some of them, the back is a little crooked while the front seems perfect. FYI if you are sending in stuff for grading or buying from others to check the back.

Small sample size, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Lots of big retail orders delayed a few days. Bad weather in the Northeast has prevented some shipments from going out. All of my cases are delayed.

Did you order Cello Cases, I was told Wensday by the rep that they would be shipped later because they are still waiting to recieve. Everything else would ship out

I ordered blasters, cellos, megas, and regular retail boxes. Blasters/megas set to arrive early next week and cellos/retail at the end of the week. Subject to change of course, always at the mercy of the distributors.

Went to the LCS yesterday to check it out, didn't buy any at the price....it's insane. It's basically begging you to lose your money. Retail is gonna be the way to go for me, assuming I can even find any at all

As far as ripping...I think I've been exhibiting a God-level restraint, lol. Problem is my sons got a taste (little one collects Pokemon. Older one doesn't collect cards at all....until now)...They're loving it though, so I think my plan is to try to just "rip for free" more or less, and sell some to recoup costs. Rinse and repeat. My older son pulled a Zion and Ja from the same cello (that's what "hooked him")...We've only opened 1 blaster and 11 cellos so far...nothing huge (no RR holo's yet...only 3 holo vets actually)...and then a Nassir Little Pink Auto, and RJ Barrett Pink Insert...Ja Purple insert as well. (Actually think the inserts are really cool this year)....Best of luck though man!! If MJH is doing a Walmart a day, they should be done with their first stock by March (My advice is pick a Walmart or Target that has a bigg-ish section---that means they get bigger weekly stocks)...if you know which one stocks first in the morning great, but if not I think they should at least have one on their route stocked by lunchtime...so early lunch if you can get out. And IF you have a rural Target or Walmart with a big card section (rare in NJ)...I think they have a slightly longer "shelf life"...maybe.

Thanks for the reply/input. Yeah...I was away from the hobby for about a decade, and admittedly,...Zion Mania pulled me back in! Been "lucky" ("unlucky", depending upon how ya' look at it...lol) to have hit a couple of decent Zions & Ja's, but nothing too over-the-top. My local Target & Walmart are close by and I've had "decent" luck in the past with Prizm restocks. Hoping to have the same or better luck with Optic. We shall see. If their respective schedules hold true, Walmart stock should be today or tomorrow, and Target,...on Monday or Tuesday. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I spent the better part of 2 1/2 hours, "stalking" the card section of my Walmart. No dice. I actually go in there quite often (just for general shopping) and have made friendly with several of the up-front staff. I asked one in particular, if she'd be willing to shoot me a text message, if/when the MJH stocker shows up, and she obliged! So we shall see.
