We need continued tax breaks so they don’t send jobs overseas.

Wait, no.

Damn that, too...

Yeah...Walmart has really reinvested those massive tax savings into their employees right.

I can’t believe people still believe in trickle down economics.

We need laws capping pay of highest paid employees at like 20x of the lowest paid employees. You’d be amazed how quick lower wages would go up.

You also need heavy tax penalties on companies shipping jobs overseas.

Lol.

I can’t even begin to fathom a conservatives complete lack of empathy for someone who might not be as fortunate as them.

Just let the poor die, right?

Ca you seriously why you idolize large corporations like Comcast that suck this country dry.

Even the most staunch lefty shouldn’t be hoping for death.

20+ years ago I got my first place. I worked a full time, minimum wage job. Don’t think it was even $5 an hour back then. It covered rent, nothing else. Some of the worst years of my life. College wasn’t an option because you couldn’t get student loans in my state without a parent even though I lived on my own for awhile and was an adult.

I can’t speak for now but back then without help from someone it was not feasible. I ended up getting laid off, finding a new job which paid the same and working sometimes 70 hour work weeks to make ends meet. At least with that job I could afford food. Unless you’re in a home with multiple incomes it’s not happening. I didn’t own a car back then but I remember my car insurance was well over $100 (Think it was $137) 20 years ago because I was on my own policy.

Ok, so now you understand why illegals taking construction jobs for instance out from underneath American citizens is a problem...we are talking 100’s of thousands of jobs just in that field.

What about farm work, or is that beneath some people ?

Or would that make lettuce too expensive ?

What if the government gave money to farmers to actually hire legal citizens instead of trucking in seasonal workers ?

That’s a million jobs right there... don’t call me racist, I’m not. It’s just an honest suggestion that is undeniably becoming an issue apparently if your only option is Wally World.

How the heck do you save up to buy a car in 10 dollars an hour.

How about instead of complaining on here about being furloughed, go get a job flipping burgers? It’s easy, right?

You sound like you’re happy with the current disparity in wealth being concentrated in the top 1%.

When you really think about it, the hardest working people make less money than the decision makers who don’t honestly do much.

A CEO of a failed company gets a nice severance package when they’re released.

The rank and file of said company are told to hit the bricks.

Thank the lord you didn’t get that student loan, you most likely would be in debt and indoctrinated by a radical professor.

You can get a car for under $500. Don't move out at 18 and save some money (if that's an option)

How about stop sending cheap shots my way? You've done it so many times with no reason. Be an adult, it isn't hard.

I’m not hopeless, I just gave you a legit example of American job loss via illegal immigration and you can’t bring yourself to even begin to digest it or research the info.

That’s hopeless.

Lots of ramen.

But now they have ramen restaurants where they charge $15.

I just don't care, I care about my path. To say they don't work hard is BS, they do, they got to the top for a good reason (usually).

What sucks, is the younger you are, the harder it is. Typically you have the most debt and the lowest pay.

You’re the one saying it is easy to live on minimum paying jobs while complaining about not being able to work.

If it’s easy go get a job at McDonald’s it Walmart
