I would be buying the Kira right now if I wasn't currently picking up all the team Lebron SS. If they trade Bledsoe and he gets to play a bunch the rest of the season I'd expect a jump.

For sure. I mean I literally pulled and sold a Jaesean Tate /4000 from my $14 pack that went for near $400. No way Kira should be less than that

I really don't know much about how people are valuing lower serial numbers other than they carry a premium. So far it seems 2 digit much more than 3. I haven't had any low serial number moments so I've basically ignored them.

You could look at the the site momentranks.com and search for the user that is selling it. It gives an estimated value for moments and is supposed to take serial number into consideration.

Yup, I'm gonna start paying more attention for sure. Glad to be in this now, though. Thanks for that, helps a lot and I remember your tiers. I've sat here for an hour selling moments and debating whether to get the moment. Gotta stop being nitpicky although I am wondering if I can get a better deal. I should probably just pull the trigger.

The wait time on the marketplace was ingenious... definitely slows the dumping of prices and will 100 % level off prices for now. Allows people a chance to get more involved and actually see which moments are potential "buys".

I’m not necessarily certain this is true or that straightforward. Limiting both sides of action should in theory artificially inflate prices because of the unique behavior on both sides. Sellers generally are selling in large quantity, whereas buyers are generally more selective and buying in lower quantity. So assuming all that is true (educated guess more than anything), you’ve artificially limited supply without a proportionate artificial limit on demand.

I don’t mind the limitations on the marketplace I just wish it was more than one moment every 1 1/2 hrs. I also wish they would put in an edit feature for sales listings rather than needing to delist it. Some of the rising stars prices surprised me. I thought the Deni would be higher than $400. It’s great to double up your pack price though.

Did you sell your Deni yet? For me, I'm going to wait it out a few days to see if supply gets limited as more people buy for the challenge and hold.

Also, I ended up buying the #600 Kira Lewis, hopefully we can see a spike sometime soon

I haven’t sold it yet. I have a low serial number (156) so I’m going to hold for a few days. I’m going to sell off my lower end moments first. I like the Kira too. I’ve debated pulling the trigger on one of those.

Imo having 7 moments at your disposal to dump into the marketplace in an instant allows way too much undercutting for flippers. At least they have to pick and choose who to dump. Potentially that slows the $18, 17, 16... $10 process. And I don't think supply is limited for buyers, just the rock bottom ones. My only hope in all this is that someone at top shot doesn't own 10-15% of all these moments.

Yup I did that last night, covered the cost of the pack and the rest is gravy. I wonder when they'll officially announce the Zion challenge, that should give the required moments a bump.

Yeah, but that’s just a market being a market, whether it’s healthy or not. Intervention=manipulation and you get an artificially inflated market.

Also, I have bad news for you then. Their CEO, Roham, owns a very large portfolio of moments (6 by EM, 12 by MR).

It actually makes perfect sense and is a very simple and smart tactic used by dapper. They don’t give two sh*ts less about the money coming in from packs. Their gravy train comes from transactions. They love that their customers are 50x their $14 packs. Meanwhile, we have Panini releasing four figure donruss boxes...

Was actually referring to the larger numbers.. 10,000 , 15,000, 35,000++ . Hope all those go out in packs and giveaways. Don't want a few hundred or more "missing" lol.
