I've got a real love/hate with Top Shot right now. I just can't seem to make the right call. I sell something it immediately goes up. I buy something it immediately goes down. I like the stock market feel and I think the clips are cool. I do see long term potential. I've got a little over $400 in Dapper dollars available and I'm trying to figure out if I want to spend it on challenge items to try and make some short term gains or spend it on longer term holds. I'm sure whichever I decide will lose money lol.

I’ve made a lot and lost a lot. I’m still significantly up but I was double where I am now. I’m just learning as I go which is all you can do. This wasn’t intended to be a stock market clone but....that’s exactly what it is. And that’s what draws me in. I’m not a long term thinker when it comes to money. Even in actual stocks, 80% of my money is tied up in high volatility. I know it’s not “smart” but it’s what I enjoy doing. It’s how I get my gambling fix.

That being said, my approach for the near-future (until it inevitably fails) is to chase the flavor of the day. Which is weird because I do just the opposite in the physical market. 90% of my money is tied up in seeing stars. And once that hits a peak, I’ll move it into the next challenge. Thinking simple usually works.

For anyone holding a bunch of /35,000 moments be prepared for those to all go down pretty significantly over the next week. There are going to be tons of those dumped onto the market.

I lost $2k selling S1/S2 moments the past couple days. I made it all back chasing the stars. Pun intended.

True. I've made the right call on one thing and then screwed up on another. Bought a Kira and now he's down, with one 100 numbers lower being way cheaper than the one I bought It's so tempting to sell and move into something else. I think y'all are right in that short-term is the way to go. What I'm hoping Kira rises to in the next few months the Rising Stars rose in the same percentage in a day. Challenges are a roller coaster

There was a new Mike Conley Seeing Stars minted yesterday. Imagine if they screw us all and the Lebron reward is Mike Conley instead.

I am hoping they are using it for a master challenge but Mike Conley reward for master challenge (completing the entire Seeing Stars set) seems pretty underwhelming.

I don't think it was a seeing stars /10k. The set name is "Platinum Ice" which is the set where everything is /3 that will be coming out soon, and will only be available by auction, no pack queues. Also, they don't mint challenge rewards until the challenge is over, so anything you see minted in advance is always going to be something that is going to be released in packs.

The way that works is every moment ever created is created as platinum ice first. But they are also created for other things and maybe minted wasn't the right word but they are added to the blockchain. The Lebron reward and Zion reward are already there just the quantity isn't decided yet.

Yeah I got out seemingly just in time. Probably around a 5% hit from the top, plus the 5% in transaction fees. I think we're still well in the middle of a dip unfortunately and throwing a ton of supply at us isn't really helping things.

Freefall? They are down like $10. This is going to happen. A few people sell and it scares a few others into selling. It's a classic market response. But these should keep heading up for at least a week or so. More and more buyers are going to want to complete the challenge and there will be less and less sellers because people will be holding for the challenge.

The market is down from the peak it was at about 10 days ago. I'm down about 40% and haven't moved much of anything except the LaMelo and Luka that totaled about $5,000(now). I believe we will see another rise though. There is a huge increase of accounts and I have many people that I know personally saying they cant open one.
