I know a whole lot of people that pay someone to change their lightbulbs... especially in vaulted ceilings... and if I'm doing those I might as well do them all at once

So you might run with a different crew than I do.

Because it's not weird at all

If I could pay someone to move my arms and legs, core, back, shoulders, etc to lift weights and cardio I would. They do the work I see the health benefits and results.

I am a big fan of this idea.

I do like lifting

So maybe someone to just help move my limbs for cardio. That would help.

What I have left is easy to cut, unfortunately.

Beard maintenance is more time consuming now.

Gotta keep up some hair above the shoulders.

Yes, it's quite apparent that we have different ideas of normality. Also dignity, self-respect, and honor. I suppose that's okay.

"Weird" wasn't the word I used.

I'd bet you and I could enjoy a beer together, maybe catch a game. Once.

Pretty sure we wouldn't enjoy a beer together. You have too much self respect to even put yourself in that situation.

I'm not dignified.

Nah, don't sell yourself short. Anyone that has a lightbulb guy has plenty to offer the world. I'd bet you've got some awesome stories to tell.

It's really the other way around. I'm not fit to be in the presence of a big baller like you. I've never even driven a Mercedes. Plus, I don't much care for Grey Poupon.

That said, I think that sometimes a greaser and a soc can enjoy each other's company.

I absolutely have awesome stories. Let me tell you about my time at Arizona State with my Dad's credit card. That was years ago though before I became a baller.

Yukon Denali. I need room for all my gold bars... and to intimidate the little people. Sedans don't get it done for me.

Maybe a Mercedes for a summer car though. Take it for a spin a few times a year just because I can.

Grey Poupon? How old are you? Is that even still a reference? I can pay way more for fancier mustard.

Probably easier if you just pay someone to smile for you.

Snow removal. I live in Central NY (same neck of the woods as everyone's favorite squatch). My back is not the greatest and I'm not getting any younger. Too bad kids don't go around neighborhoods looking to shovel snow like they used to. Now you probably couldn't get them to shovel their own driveway for under $25.

I'd love to hear about it, maybe live vicariously for a minute.

Understandable. Gotta keep the riffraff in their place.

In the summer, I prefer my car. But in the winter, I'm all about my Harley softail. Us greasers are like that.

Old. Kinda surprised I made it this far. Any day now I expect to crumble into a pile of dust.

My first stereo was an eight-track player.

I was already old when Grey Poupon was a thing.

My bad. If we ever have a beer, I'll try to be younger.

What is a greaser? Like John Travolta?

Googled it

a rough young man, especially one who greases his hair back and is a member of a motorcycle gang.

Umm, no. Greasers would've slapped Vinnie Barbarino around and taken his lunch money.

Technically, I wasn't a greaser any more than you were a soc. It's just an expression. Us old folks remember classic films like "The Outsider".

Can I pay you to drive me around if I sit in the side car? I’m up for that

You'd have to buy the sidecar. But yeah, that'd be fun! No charge, friend. We'll cruise down to the Keys for a mini-getaway.

My place is in Fort Meyers but I’ll make it work.

I can take the Key West Express back to FMB after we arrive
