Kelenic unfortunetly wont have much more time to be hobby relevant if he doesnt improve very soon

I think he needs at least 70-80 AB before you really consider sending him down, and even then, I think there's a case for letting him work it out in Seattle. Give him a real chance to adjust, rather than continue to tear up the minors. If his next 40 at-bats show no significant improvement, then you make a determination about what will most benefit him and the club.

He's a good hitter, and even good hitters slump, especially with the added pressure of being in the spotlight with high expectations that haven't yet been reached at the level he is at. There's a good chance that with his talent, if he can just relax a bit, the numbers can follow relatively quickly. I'd expect that we'll see that happen fairly soon as long as he can keep his mind off the box score.

Fingers crossed that it takes him awhile and we may have some affordable nice RC options over the winter. The only way I can ever get into the big boys is through initial failure.

I think the important thing is that he doesn't look overmatched at the plate at all. He gets contact it's just not dropping in for base hits. It will come. Unfortunately because no one else is hitting it creates even more pressure for him. If people were hitting around him I think he'd be doing a little better. Good day for a day off, really tough pitching matchup - get your mind right then get back in the box vs Athletics.

I'm not as optimistic. Just don't think he's ready yet.

He's hitting in front of the Mariners best hitter. Seattle has team control for 6 years. What kind of excuse is this

I love Haniger, but come on, when the rest of the team is hitting .188 and you're touted as the savior of seattle, when no one is hitting its for sure putting a lot more pressure on you.

It's almost like not every top prospect is going to crush it in the majors, wow.

I want him to succeed, but it's almost like he could've used more seasoning in the minors.

What did Seattle do to the beisbol gods to deserve a track record for hitting prospects like this in the past decade+?

Reason why I won't even drop a penny on J Rod (yikes@how much money people are paying). At this point I don't even think it's the players' faults. The geographic curse is built in.

Just takes one. Padres were same way and look what Tatis has done there. Could be JRod, could be someone else. But the curse can be broken.
