I didn't know where else to post this.

Man I love baseball.

0-0 in the 4th innings. Bases loaded. 2 outs. Here comes the 3-2 pitch...

Baseball has so many of these clutch moments in a game. Just wanted to show the love.

P.S. Degrom is a mighty fine pitcher.

Throwing a 4th slider to him, out of the zone, is as gutsy as it gets too.

Might be putting together the greatest season for a pitcher in the history of baseball.

He will have a hard time convincing those of us who appreciated guys who completed games, didn’t miss starts, and pitched for 20 years.

But he’s generational and the most fun pitcher in the game. If he continues this dominance through an entire season, he will certainly have his 3rd cy young and have cemented 1st ballot HOF for me.

To be greatest all time.... he needs more time for that.

Seriously. They were talking about Gibson's 1968 during the broadcast tonight. He had 13 shutouts that year. SHUTOUTS. Not complete games. Oh yeah, he had 28 of those.

The Mets are pulling him early, though. That's the second straight game he had a real chance of throwing a shutout.

deGrom has been SO good that Kevin Gausman is 7-0 with a 1.27 ERA in 19+ more innings, and no one cares.

He was pretty much sitting 100 tonight. Multiple pitches at 101+.

He reminds me very much of the complete dominance of hitters like Pedro Martinez in 1999-2000

Watch him while you can. May not see another pitcher dominate like this again. Its ridiculous at this point and has been for many years now.

Most 100+ mph pitches ever thrown in a game.

Are they soft? Or are owners protecting their million dollar investments? Also pitchers seem to be more disposable in favor of hitters (this is how it seems to me).

Soft, no. But pitchers have a 100% injury rate. I think it’s 110% if ubthrow above 96 mph. They are maximizing return in most cases. Use vs probability of tommy john.... I’d bet they have algorithms..

The stat I heard last night on DeGrom is that the BA goes down to .059 his 3rd time thru line up. That’s the literal opposite of what is suppose to happen.

I remember watching him in the 2015 playoffs and thinking at the time he was very good but he's raised the bar in a major way since then.

I love what degrom is doing, but it's nothing compared to 2000 pedro. Height of steroid era, way before the massive increase in strikeouts, no shifts, al east, etc.

I was at the game last night. Talk about silencing the stadium.

I love DeGrom and everything, but "how long can he be like this" is a question in my mind as well.

His past years' records were even more impressing than I thought (year around ERA never touching above 3.53), but can he keep this up, and till when...
I don't know what to think of his 32 years of age either.
