yes for 2018, 2019, & 2020 I opened at least 1 hobby box and at least 1 blaster for each. Topps is printing so much retail for all 2021 releases that the odds are now crazy stupid to get anything super desirable. The days of grading base are gone.

Refractors, xfractors, prism refractors, pink refractors, and to a lesser extent, sepia refractors of any of the top rookies, in any given year, would beg to differ.

And especially after last years production increase - hobby has been watered down way too much - they don't compare at msrp (or what hobby sells for)... And more so than ever this year with the rookie auto checklist almost doubling compared to last years increase... Buying hobby for the guaranteed autos is a bad idea this year.

I dont agree with chrome retail being garbage at all..i broke nothing but retail last year and it was far from garbage.

Like one dude got the Select megas. I got them in my cart the second they went live, but they were all gone by the time I clicked Place Order. Did manage to get 5 Select blasters though, so at least I got something. If the megas were this hard to get on day one, I think it’s safe to say those will get botted pretty hard on every restock.

Not sure if any actual humans saw it go live, but there apparently was only 900 blasters and 200 cello boxes, so no chance anyway without a bot.

I got 5 Select blasters, made it to the point of clicking place order on the megas, then a spinning wheel, then sold out. Oh well.

Select Football and Prizm basketball all dropped before Select basketball, but stock was so low (<1k) that it was gone instantaneously. Seems like some monitors didn't even pick it up.

I also carted them immediately but then it asked for my pin (like my blaster order did), only on the megas my cursor wasn’t on the pin field and my typing wasn’t registering..

I prefer chasing numbered parallels which are few and far between in retail. Retail loaded with non serial numbered color... Definitely an infinite number of ways to hobby.

You could always start your own when those fail because they can't move their overpriced wax
