Good run for the Heat. Jimmy played his heart out and almost pulled it off.

Btw this should have been named the Jimmy G Buckets thread.

The G stands for Gets

Definitely underappreciated, if not undervalued.

The only Butler that I have taken a photo of. Got it as a replacement of a Serge Ibaka rookie autograph card (forgot which card it is, but Ibaka never signed that card). Have the non-numbered version as well, tucked somewhere in the collection.

Still looking for the gold parallel of the card above, but I guess that the price is out of my range now.

Rookie Roll Call’s are one of my faves. Great on card autos. Nice one to have!

Mans got heart. Unfortunately he had little to no help. And was burned the hell out. This one's got to hit even harder for him. These kind of opportunities won't come around often.

Funny thing is, the non-numbered, red and blue parallels of this card are never inserted into the product. All are used as replacements for other unfulfilled cards from various product lines. Only the gold/green/black parallels are inserted. I myself have been lookiing for a gold one for years.

When I requested a Butler, the CS representative back then told me that the non-numbered/red/blue ones were signed late and hence missed the cut for the finalized release.

^ Very nice.
Either way, probably will take a while to come up with funds for one, and I prefer raw/ungraded.

Thank you! At least with a graded one, you know the grade before you buy it…you can always crack it out.

And I really thought that Butler would stay as a Bull for many years, if not his entire NBA career. I guess that it's just not meant to be.

Me too! I thought the same with Rose, but he too was traded…and very upset about it as well!

Butler is definitely under appreciated in the hobby in regards to his talent. However, its been said before in the thread but a large reason why he doesn’t have more hobby love has been his unwillingness to mesh with teammates and create cohesion. Its pretty obvious that he hasn’t been well liked every place he has went and I think his demeanor will likely be his greatest demise, especially when it comes to his hobby value.

He’s certainly found his home with the Heat, and those guys all love and respect him. Took him to play with guys with the same drive and determination to mesh.

You do realize there was quite a bit of animosity in the team as recent as a month ago, right?

I know Butler and Oladipo had an issue.

Love Jimmy Buckets, such a underrated player. Not many players in the league that works as hard as he does. He's one of those players I would love to have on my team, if you're lazy or trying to take the easy way you better stay away from him cause he isn't going to put up with that.
