We already have his opinion on these type of disciplinary matters.

“I gotta be honest…Our league definitely got this wrong. I don’t need to explain why. Y’all read the stories and decide for yourself. I said it before and I’m gonna say it again, there is no place in this league for that kind of behavior.

“I love this league and I deeply respect our leadership. But this isn’t right. There is no place for _______ in any work place. Don’t matter if you own the team or play for the team. We hold our league up as an example of our values and this aint it.

The complete lack of willingness to break this up before it escalated by anyone on the staff just shows how TOO much power these players have. None of these little peasant staffers on the bottom of the totem poll want to rock the boat and do the right thing, or better yet, be an authority figure of Draymond and tell him to cut it out. Talking is one thing, but the walking over thug life style going in for the hook, some of the staffers just sat back and watched lol.

Garbage league full of garbage players, but I'll watch a few games I reckon

It is kind of humorous considering…

“ Reporting w/ @wojespn: The Golden State Warriors are taking “every legal course of action” to discover how video of Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole during a scuffle at practice on Wednesday was made public, sources told ESPN.”

Actually Green touched Poole first, which somehow everyone is missing.
Watch the vid again, Green goes chest to chest with his face about an inch away from Poole's face. Poole absolutely has every right to push him away from him out of his personal space.

But, but Poole called his mom a mean name!

But at the same time, if you're going back and forth #@#@#@#@-talking with someone and then you shove them, it shouldn't come as some absolute shock if that person throws a punch.

It happens all the time in the NBA; look up the Ibaka-Lopez fight from a few years ago. The 2 guys get in each other's faces, Ibaka shoves Lopez away, and Lopez throws a punch.
Lol. What?

You guys remember that Dame story about Poole?

lol

https://mobile.twitter.com/Infyrno23...5Es1_&ref_url=

Mind you, that was Poole talking trash to Dame during his rookie year.

And ofc Dray before the incident

Really only a matter of time tbh lol

This is a bad take. Football is naturally violent. NBA is not. Plus, It is one thing to go after an opposing teams player. It is another thing to go after your OWN teammate, in let me remind you...practice. We're talking about practice.

If DG had any legacy left other than being an arrogant a-hole on a great team and a constant triple single threat, it is gone.

Don't understand how people don't see that.

Poole played that too cool. You can’t shove someone like that and drop your hands and eyes. But Draymond is an emotional baby and needs to go away

You do have a point. Donald should have suffered punishment, but is definitely more likeable than Green. Green should not be let off the hook; the same goes for Donald, but it's too late.

This would not be classified as assault, this is battery. At no point in their interaction is Poole a willing participant in a fight, nor was there a rising level of physicality as in most NFL examples. Poole pushed Green out of physical space (he actually pushes himself back off of Green) and gets cold-cocked. It's hard for me to see Green coming back from this, it really is. I'm not put-off by a lot in sports, but this is next level. If you can't understand the difference in all of the scenarios which are supposedly used to show equivalence vs. the Green/Poole episode, I'm not sure what to say. This is more of a Kermit Washington/Tomjanovich situation than any of the above. He was suspended for 26 games, and that was in 1977, not 2022.

I fully expect Green to be suspended for half of a year, at least, and possibly never return to the Warriors. I'm not saying what should happen, but this is what will most likely be the end result.
That won't happen, although he should suffer some punishment. What makes it so bad is he did this to his own teammate, seemingly over words. Poole didn't seem to be a threat to him. Also, more people than you think believe it's not that big of a deal; I'm not one of those people. This is part of a pattern of Green not being good for that team.

Draymond was in wrong with punch.

I just saw a Jalen Rose video interview explaining some things about altercation - why, what may have happened, who may have done what, where do you draw a line, what now going forward, team dynamics, etc. Kind of looks at both sides objectively.

I would love to post link to video, but alas I am tech challenged. But definitely check it out.

This should disqualify Draymond from running for public office. Poole should still be OK.

Seems like the Warriors are more concerned with who leaked the video and taking legal action against the person that leaked it then they are about Draymond assaulting Poole. Seems like a really bad look for a franchise that is supposed to be the class of the NBA

They’re the Karen’s of the NBA. It’s all virtue signaling. Their response to this proves it.

If DG is a normal person that is 6 months in prison at the very least. That easily classifies as assault. Just a terrible look. The video is already out. The damage has been done.

To be fair a normal person in SF would just be booked and put back on the street an hour later and never do any jail time.
