Most spent it right away on bills I bet since it was hardly any $
6400 and more if you have kids. Most people didn't need that money. I spent mine on cards and others here have said the same. PPP loans were 6 and 7 figures and some of that went into the card market too.

People couldn't go on vacations, go to sporting events, concerts, etc. Lots of entertainment money was diverted into the card market too. This was all discussed back in late 2000 - early 2001. Buying stuff online was one of the few things people could do when the economy shut down. There were lots of people who started collecting cards again to have something to do.

I don't think elope means what you think it means.

No it means if a hypothetical QB threw for 4,700 yards passing plus made the playoffs that still isn't good enough to make the top 10 which, of course, only a complete moron would believe.

I love your community college comments and your ability to troll all of my comments.

My LCS was contacted by the IRS about someone who purchased loads of cards from him. My LCS owner wasn't in trouble, but the guy they were after used a crapload of PPP money on them. I used my fake checks to pay off appliances.

Yes there was a bubble borne out of all that money swimming everywhere. We're just now feeling the effects of all of it too. I hope y'all prepared.

$3200 each in three disbursements. So $6400 for a household.

You think people were able to save that money? Considering most go paycheck to paycheck, I’m sure it was gone almost immediately

Most weren’t buying cards

I think they were based off of all the eBay messages I got during the pandemic. Stuff like “I’m gonna buy this, just waiting on my stimulus money.”

Dude, if you are waiting on stimulus money to buy my crap, you shouldn’t be buying my crap.

A lot of messages like that.
