According to my email I just received shipping notification from topps—have 5 boxes on the way

This has definitely been my product of the year and ranks high in top new offerings in past 10 years. I absolutely love the look and the checklist, all on card autos and seemingly lower print run resulting in a lot of great pulls.

I already regret not picking up multiple cases of this product.

I had planned on picking up four boxes if the price was $150. When I saw $200 I passed and by the time I saw how good the product was I missed out.

Cards look great, and the print run seems to be super low. Bought a box today for $220 and hit:

Tatis Youth Invasion
Castellanos gold /50
De la Cruz black /10
Soto nucleus
J Rod Launched Into Orbit
Base of Pena, Franco, J Rod, Cruz

Wish I bought more

Fun product, but I can't really see these going past $300-$350/box long term.

I got about $120 worth of cards in each of my two boxes. Highlights were Witt base refractor and Tatis orbit/10.

It is true that there is a lot of complaining by the pumpers who wish every product can get top $$ and hot rookies should fleece buyers and later drop hard.

Hopefully we’ll continue to see fewer investors / gamblers over time and complainers will slow.

I like the outer space theme. But we've seen it with Best and Fire. However, this is Topps Chrome so it could have legs. Some people like basic designs. This is for the other extreme. I'd put Ben Baller Chrome between the two.

Definitely see how the design is not for everyone, but with lower print run, on card autos and a great checklist with limited redemptions it seems like what most of us have been asking for.

Based on box sales this weekend, this is the topps chrome everyone wanted.

I know several large retail shops that didn’t get even one single case, just loose boxes.

I’m afraid prices are going to stay high on this one.

If you can add it for $200, grab it.

Hobby only release and likely some distributor manipulation as well, but it will work because supply is “limited”.

There won’t be a high ceiling for boxes, but there will be a high floor.

It will have to be at some point. Simple supply and demand. If prices don’t continue to fall, Fanatics and everyone else down the wax chain will be crushed. Cosmic is an $80 product, not a $200 product. Collectors and investors aren’t dependent upon new wax to participate. Fanatics is dependent upon selling new wax to survive.

I think those things are generally true, but Blowout and DACW are completely sold out, and Steel City has it at $300. The demand for this particular release is clearly there, and it's just a dramatically better product than this year's TC. Guaranteed autos don't matter if they're mostly a bunch of random vets and crappy rookies and all of them look like crappy cards from 2006. The rookie class is also floating a lot of boats ATM and I expect Topps's reckoning on the baseball side will come for the 2023 products.

A fool and his money. The prices of singles don’t justify a $200+ box. 200 card checklist and a Julio /10 did $1325. Like every other product, the wax and singles prices are dissociated.

You guys are funny. This is a blood bath at $200. Now if doing for fun by all means rip away, but let’s stop pretending this is just amazing value. Maybe if it was $100 it would be a good rip but not at $200 and def not at $300
