My Son watches a ton of YouTube. He'll watch Jabs and others opening baseball and Pokemon boxes. He watches a lot of video games being played. The latest one we have been watching is a Dad from Arizona who films and gives a play by play on his Son's travel baseball team, the Rally Fries.

I would say in answer to your question, if there is money to be made from such a thing, they are genius. I don't make any money from my videos nor do I care to.

My Son wants to grow up to be a YouTube personality.
The reason I asked is one of the you tubers posted their stats of how much they either won or lost in each casino they played at in 2022 and they had lost over 250,000 dollars or somewhere around that total but they also said they made over 7 figures because of their subscribers on their social platforms. I watch them once in awhile to get an idea of which slots I might want to play and honestly a few of them are funny and pretty entertaining.

If you feel you are being pushed too hard don’t quit take a break and see if others pick up the slack. If nobody steps up and you feel you are being used by all means quit.

While I certainly wouldn't blame you for doing that and it seems like you have a legitimate gripe, I would think what it would do to the kids. It sounds like if you quit, the whole thing will collapse and then the kids are the ones who suffer more than your place of employment.

If you can, I would inform your job that you will ensure the league plays, but after that you are quitting and why it has come to that.

I just can't imagine making 7 figures a year by simply filming myself play slot machines. It's incredible what people will pay for.

My wife said there is no way they could make that much from their subscribers on YouTube and I think I agree with her. They have over 200,000 subscribers but I didn’t think it would lead to that much revenue.

Another YouTube person my Son watches is a guy who has people send him videos of "Karens." This reminds me of one scene where a lady who was renting a house confronts one of the neighbors because she is vegan and the smell of them barbequing meet in their own yard was drifting over to her house and it was offensive. After a few minutes the owner hilariously takes a piece of meat off the grill and motions it towards the lady and she acted like she was going to die.

Because she is an animal lover and it traumatizes her to smell animal meat cooking?

In a way it's cruel.

Some people have issues that we can't quite understand.

I can’t stand Karen’s as they are so annoying. I am thankful that I don’t have to venture outside my house that often and I can’t remember my last Karen confrontation. I am surprised a lot of them don’t get the crap beat out of them, but I also think some of those videos are staged.

You're just assuming this. None of that was said in the video. She just kept droning on and on how she was a vegan and didn't like the smell of meat because she didn't eat it.

And yes, people have a lot of undiagnosed psychological issues.

I am a carnivore.

But I know some people can be so obsessed with a belief that it affects them psychologically.

There are many forms of fundamentalism.

I don't know which is worse—those whose beliefs become obsessive to the point of pathology or those whose beliefs are so shallow that it's just a gimmick.

I really don't think a lot of these "everything I don't like is virtue signaling" people are thinking these things through.

I personally attach meaning and importance to things like singing the National Anthem and respecting highway shutdowns for first responder funerals...

...but using the criteria that a lot of people are throwing around, these kinds of things would also be considered "virtue signaling."

I believe Frentzy is the virtue signaler.

But yes, the definition had to be broad enough to capture those they don’t like, but then inadvertently broad enough to also capture what they do like.

Jesus just called them hypocrites.

What Is a Plant's Scream? According to a study on tobacco and tomato plants by Tel-Aviv University, researchers found that when stressed, certain plants produce an ultrasonic sound that is undetectable to the human ear. Keep in mind that being stressed can be caused by drought, insects, and yes, by being cut.Apr 8, 2021

Vegans are the worst. Murdering in silence.

I can realize someone is a vegan and be considerate my problem is they show no consideration for non-.vegans. I am not forcing you to eat meat but me cooking my dinner on a grill should not result in me having to go to court.

How is the snow blower holding up. I only used one when I lived on Staten Island and never could quite get the hang of it, I always wound up switching to a shovel halfway through.

You wouldn't believe how many university events never happen because the planning committees realize they won't be able to provide a dozen different meal options specifically tailored to all the dietary demands of people.

Not including at least a vegan and a gluten-free food option is seen as a major faux pas in this social environment.

And Lord help you if someone sees you eating Chick-Fil-A.

More often than not, the issue isn’t the issue, it’s people insistence on forcing their beliefs and thoughts into spaces they shouldn’t be.

I’m a very staunch Christian, with very strong beliefs on controversial issues. I have no issues discussing those with people across the spectrum of beliefs. I also respect that others can and will have different beliefs and try to give them space to have theirs.

If you truly have issues with eating/smelling meat, having a house in suburbia with neighbors and backyards is likely not the place for you, unfortunately.

Christmas 2019 (right before COVID), we were invited to a dinner party at a faculty members home. I cooked up a pot of my Southern-style chicken and honey-butter dumplings soup.

I'm pretty sure everyone here can imagine the kind of down-home ingredients that go into a pot like that.

It was a hit (not virtue signaling here) until someone actually asked "is there dairy in this?"

I had to awkwardly explain to a room full of Ivy-League-educated people what "comfort food" was and that this was a dish loaded with dairy, gluten, fat, meat, etc.

The weirdest part was watching the moral dilemma play out on the faces of everyone as they had to decide between a delicious dish and keeping up their social appearance as someone with strict dietary principles. About half of them kept eating.
