Same situation here. Just got fed ex tracking. I know I chose USPS for return shipping as well as for all my other previous submissions.
Are they overriding and defaulting to fedex?

Fed Ex should hire Amazon drivers. When I was working at a company where I deal with Fed Ex drivers, almost every week there is a different driver. But Fed Ex treats the veteran drivers with a lot of respect, I know a driver who has a name on the truck (like pilot name on fighter jets). They spent money doing it.

I shipped my order last week, it hasn't shown up yet unlike previous 2 submissions where it was logged with a day, or two of arriving. I'm guessing they are falling behind maybe holiday.

I think its just "insured shipping" now, so I assume they put in a change and applied it to all existing orders. I sent 3 orders together in late Nov., first one came back via USPS, next 2 came via FedEx.

I fired off 2 emails to PSA yesterday which i rarely do.

1) Why is my October $18 order stuck in Research. Received generic response. I'm sure GOD is getting T'd up to murder it
2) 12/30 shipped order is lost in Memphis TN. Tracking goes, CA --> LA (operational delay, rerouting) --> Memphis --> Waits 4 days with no movement --> email PSA to contact their rep --> pacakage moves in 1 hour departing Memphis at 2pm on 1/4 --> Arrives at PHX distribution facility @ 4pm 1/4

I nicely requested that my account be flagged to never use FedEx for my returned orders. Very unlikely PSA is sophisticated enough to accomodate this as I'm sure they received a nice bulk volume deal with FedEx to be the primary carrier service for default orders being returned.

Just realized that missing order has a very unique card in it that I wasn't aware of. A pop 1 MJ (among other low pop MJs):

Still not sure why this is a retail version but I'll take it I reckon

I have an order that I decided to send to the vault that has been in QA2 for almost 2 weeks. Wondering if maybe it is being held up because I selected the vault option.

Orders have been stalling out on QA2 for the last few weeks, so I'm not sure it is related. I haven't used the vault, but a few friends and I had several stay in QA2 a while lately.

I called, and the customer service lady stated that it would take 4-6 weeks to process a return. I thought, well, by that time, surely the order would have moved beyond grading. That curveball in the moment made me decide to hold out a bit longer, but very annoying.

Get ready to wait 2 weeks for a generic reply that they have no idea what is going on. PSA CS is the worst, my orders that popped in Nov still havent shipped and no one can figure out why or knows what is going on.

I'd say it's time for you to start tagging Nat on twitter enough times that he directly responds to help. Just be short and concise with your statement. He can actually be useful on there. Not too long ago I pointed out an issue with a card I own in the pop report for 1996 E-X2000, it was fixed within 24 hours.

Got slaughtered on a small bulk order. 8 10's, 7 9's, 7 8's. It was all lower end stuff too, so it's a dreadful sub. I knew there were some cards in there that were debateable, I just thought it might be a debate between a 9 and 10, not 8 and 9

Has anyone else noticed that PSA seems to be grading more harshly recently? I am very careful about what I send in, closely inspect them with magnifiers and centering tools, etc. I thought I had a general sense of their standards, but just got my ass handed to me with a bunch of 7’s and 8’s instead of 9’s and 10’s. Mostly ‘80s cards…maybe I need to adjust my own understanding but was curious if others have noticed a trend

80s and 90s are graded VERY tough these days, ultrea modern is hit or miss, depends on the grader

Absolutely a trend as of late. I don't think PSA wants to give out 9's and 10's for older cards anymore or very very few at least. I haven't changed how I look over all my older cards and noticed that I had far better grades of cards from 80's several months ago and now, those same types of cards are getting hammered with 7's and 8's. I am sure if I submitted my cards again they would get better grades but to double up the grading cost isn't work the risk.
