We've both been on the Mahomes train a long time. Enjoy the victory my friend!
Burrow posted a 50.2 QBR.

Which is not that far from his career regular season QBR totals of 48.5, 54.3, and 58.7.

Those very good throws were negated by the inability to navigate through pressure (which has always been his biggest weakness), and throwing into double coverage.

My take that he's a good quarterback, but not elite, continues to be proven out. And 9 passing touchdowns in 7 career playoff games doesn't make me change my mind.

Congratulations to the Bengals! World champions of talking trash and then getting completely beclowned. Even the mayor got in on the action as did many, many fans. Enjoy your hard won lesson in humility. Consider showing a bit more respect for your opponent next time. Perhaps save the trash talk until after the game. Know that witnessing the comeuppance of such an arrogant, trashy bunch has brought great joy to many and we will laugh and reminisce about it for years to come!

All they had to do was shut down a hobbled quarterback who was missing 3 wide receivers.

I was told the Chiefs didn't have a chance.

What’s shocking is Mahomes has never played on the road in the playoffs! Let that sink in. Once he comes back to the pack and he will we will see what he’s made of. So easy to make deep runs when you get home cooking all the time. If he loses that’s 1-2 in Super Bowls that has a little bit of a LeBum feel to it gets to the big dance but chokes. If he wins the future looks brighter but still a long long road ahead to make his way on Mount Rushmore.

Never called him the Goat, but if you can’t admit that what he has already accomplished in his short career isn’t legendary then you’re just not a fan of football.

It is shocking that he is the #1 seed most years isn’t it? It’s like he’s really good in the regular season too or something. He earns all those home games. Let that sink in.

Do you ever shut up?

The fact that you’re a Champ Ticket bag holder does not mean anybody cares about your opinion.

I just had that epiphany it’s mind boggling kudos to Patty but my God he’s never faced adversity on the road in the playoffs we have no idea what he’s really made of yet! Wow just wow!

No adversity when they beat the 49er's in the super bowl, guess I didn't realize they played that game at Arrowhead.

Never saw a player get slammed for being so good in the regular season that they don't play road playoff games. What an interestingly inconsequential take.

If I was a Brady investor I’d be happy to see Mahomes ascending. It will keep him (Brady) relevant and discussed even more well after he retires. Lebron/Jordan debate is a good thing for the hobby. Mahomes chasing Brady will also be a good thing for the hobby. It makes no sense to hate him so much when he has such a long way to go before he really enters the true goat discussion.

Try to follow along a neutral field. I guess Tampa is close but still a “neutral” setting with an even amount of tickets dispersed.

I’m not hating on the guy I’m just pointing out a remarkable feat he has accomplished to this point in his career. Eagles favored by 2.5 early line it’s going to come down to the health of Patty and the receivers. Much more daunting D awaits Patty in the big dance. Should be exciting I can’t wait! I hold way more Patty cards than I do Hurts so you know where my hat is!

Out of any conference championship winning team in NFL history, the Chiefs had the fewest rushing yards of them all with 42 last night.

I really like the fact that the Chiefs are well battle tested heading into this game compared to Philly. The Eagles had the 2nd Easiest Strength of Schedule, only behind the Giants, while the Chiefs had the all-time hardest Strength of Schedule ever. Can't wait until the Super Bowl!!

The Brady thread has become a dumpster, thanks to two guys, one with his dumb takes and other one constantly pumping his champ ticket. Most here, including myself do not even go there anymore. No wonder why he is trolling other threads (even basketball) with his Brady references. The fact that he has to constantly bring up "Brady is the GOAT" and he has a Champ Ticket just shows his insecurity and attention seeking behavior. I have to give credit to the other member 6GOAT789 for now since he has stopped posting since mid-Nov.

Back on track.........what a damn game

PM lost damn near every weapon he had familiarity with other that TK, but he was being doubled and essentially taken out of the game.

MVS played OUTSTANDING......was honestly over him after what I had watched in previous games.

I think this offense really needs Toney back - could care less about Mecole. Going to assume Mecole wasn't 100%, but man....he really continues to be timid whenever he gets the ball in his hands.

All time performance by PM (other than the bonehead fumble). You could tell his ankle was bothering him on certain throws - visibly screaming because of the pain. The run in the 4q was classic PM putting the team on his shoulders and going for it.

Couple weeks to get some guys healthy and game plan for a damn good team.

Cant wait

Ever since he came in the league I felt that Mahomes was a mobile version of Peyton Manning but with Brady's drive and will to win. So far I think that's pretty accurate

The guy was missing 3 lineman, you remember when Patty was missing 3 lineman? He was running for his life. I guess we'll just have to disagree, I think Burrow is one his way to being a great QB if he's not already.

First off you write beautifully.

Secondly I agree with everyone you said.

Burrow has had two deep playoff runs with a terrible Oline or a bunch of backups.

If someone can’t recognize how good he played last night in spite of what he had in front of him, I don’t think they are capable of objectivity.

Both QBs gutted out some crappy circumstances last night and in the end Mahomes and the Chiefs came out on top.

I know you didnt but now you throw in the term legendary. I am a big fan of football and quite frankly for me its about championships and nothing more. Has he won personal awards, yes, has a team returned to the top year after year yes. 1 SB

The real question is why do we lift up individual accomplishments so far above team now? Ill take a non MVP winner with a lower rating with 3 SB's any day.

I support my team not just one guy and when they fall short take no comfort in the guys awards or QBR .... I should just become a Packer fan at that point. Speaking of which IF Mahomes losses again is he on his way to becoming a slightly better Aaron Rodgers ?
