I personally love the price fluctuations because it gives an advantage to experienced hobbyists (experienced hobbyists have an easier time identifying great deals compared to inexperienced hobbyists).

Everyone agrees the price is asinine.

Yet you watch, we'll still get people buying "for the wax collection" or " just to see" or "well just had to try one" and THAT is why Topps continues to price things at this level.

Which is awesome BECAUSE people who buy the overpriced products have less money to spend on the underpriced products (and the underpriced products sit available on the site longer).

Maybe, but even the newest posters on these boards could do better with product pricing than what they do. No way they are this dumb. To be fair, out of all the Flagship releases, update usually has the lowest print run (so not the best comparison)

I don't think the print run has anything to do with the long retail odds. It's that the parallels were heavily skewed toward jumbo packs. The overall print run seems to be slightly less than 2022 series 1 (I haven't done the math, but it looks that way).
