I found and interesting stat.

Mitchell has taken either 20.5 or 20.6 shots per game in each of the last 3 seasons,

In his entire career, Steph Curry has taken over 20 shots per game 3 times.

In his entire career, Kevin Durant has taken over 20 shots per game 3 times.

In his entire 8 year Eastern Conference Finals run with Miami and Cleveland, LeBron never once took over 19.3 shots per game.

My point here is that I hope this playoff series was a wake up call that he needs to find better ways to help his team than take 20+ shots a game. If the greatest of the greats in this era could win titles doing it, then a guy like Mitchell could probably stand to rely on his teammates to getting to touch the ball more as well.

Didn't even realize Dlo clocked in 28 through 3.

They won the trade deadline by a landslide. Barring an implosion, they have the firepower to hang with any team in the league.

Never really understood the whole “fire bud” thing anyways. Bucks lost to a team that was in the nba finals in 2020 and giannis sat a bunch in the series. Like this guy didn’t win Milwaukee it’s first championship since the early 70’s.

Sometimes ppl forget that these guys are human. Players and coaches both.

Memphis getting humbled in another post season. I wonder if they’ll have learned anything this time around.

God I hope so. Have waited 20+ years to see the Kings have a chance at revenge. Worst reffed series in history - we’ll see if anything has changed.

The guy at work who sucks at his job doesn't stop being an issue just cause he had a personal tragedy recently. Sucks that happened to him but he's still not a great coach. He absolutely flew the plane into the ground that last game.

Memphis is one more early postseason out from becoming the NBA's Cowboys.

Not a great coach won the nba championship less than 2 years ago, and had been the best coach in the bucks history arguably.

Really disappointed in Memphis. Not so much that they lost, as Lakers weren't a real 7 seed, but with their shambolic starts to games and just overall capitulation. However, I firmly believe that if they had Adams (or even Clarke) they would have put up a much better fight.

Those three things are not mutually exclusive. His head has been on the block since before that championship and it only bought him time. Dude wouldn't likely be a head coach if it wasn't for Giannis.

He's the Mike McCarthy of the NBA.

It would help them on the boards and interior defense, but their problem is still their lack of half-court offense. Ja still can't do anything outside of running downhill off a high PnR or fast break. JJJ and Bane need to improve as shot creators. Brooks needs to go.

Playoffs always expose your biggest weaknesses. We've been talking about (and seeing) the weakest link of a defense getting exposed over and over, and I think these playoffs are also showing that it's getting tougher to just run heliocentric offenses efficiently, and you really need your 3rd and 4th guys to be able to make plays. Should be interesting to see how the FA market plays out this summer with a lot of these B level guys available who will be demanding franchise-crippling contracts

I'd feel bad for Memphis if they didn't talk so much sh*t. What a bunch of lost little boys.

Crazy thing is that AD and Bron didn't really go off.

This team has nailed their roles.

dillon said he wanted to see a forty piece. how about a 40 point stomping while getting eliminated from the playoffs.

Maybe next year Ja will hold up a liquor store or Dillon will start crap with Phoenix or Denver. This team is ridiculous.

The Kings had a lot to do with that. Both teams were really sloppy early on, but even as the Warriors cleaned things up the Kings kept the pressure on. They were clearly the hungrier team.

The Warriors gotta start limiting Poole’s minutes. Dude is terrible everywhere right now. He’s so bad it almost looks like he’s sabotaging the team. I’d rather see some of those minutes go to DDV and Payton. It’s not like you’re sacrificing offense at this point.

Did anyone lose more money than Dillon Brooks did in free agency?

Great to see not one but two regular season warriors go down miserably in the first round to play in teams.

Jokic and Embiid are still playing.
