Get Clarke a few more runs. C'mon he's rebounded nicely.

When you look at other franchises being praised like the Cubs, Reds , Mariners and Red Sox and then you see our fans me included criticizing everything this team does and their record is still 56-52 and that is with all the injuries it just doesn’t make sense. Throw the injuries out the window and the Yankees are probably 64-44.

I wouldn't go that far. But we'd definitely be at least 10 to 11 games over .500 with a healthy Judge.

Just look at half of the losses when the Yankees went 19-24 without Judge, throw in some healthy Cortes starts and Loaisiga healthy out of the bullpen and Stanton being healthy 8 extra wins is really not that far of a stretch. Take away any other teams top player number 2 pitcher and number 2 reliever and see if they are even above.500

Well yea I can see that. But I've pretty much penciled in Stanton missing half the season every year lol.

I'd kill to get 135 healthy games from G. But it will never happen. There may not be a more dangerous 1/2 punch then a healthy Judge and Stanton.

What bothered me is Gleyber struggled to work out a walk and Stanton swings at the first pitch to do that.

It seems most offenses are that way this year.

Why pinch hit for a guy who had 3 hits. I will never understand managing. Even if he gets a hit not a smart move. Holmes had the strikeout but got squeezed now Altuve oh joy.

Definitely the only bobble by the bullpen was Wandy giving up the homer to Tucker, solid win all around. Schmidt is giving them solid outings every time.

He really has been incredible the last 2 months. If Nestor comes back strong and Rodon can figure out some better (or more often) off speed stuff, that's a nice group of four pitchers right there. Damn shame about German, but glad he is getting help. Alcoholism is a tough battle. As for Sevi, I'm still shaking my head. He's just hurting them at this point. So, all that to say, who's the #5? Or do we even really need one at this point?

Hope they have someone ready if he starts off shaky. Can’t let him let it get out of hand early.

Actually, they usually hate Yankees fans because they brag about 27 WS Championships and 40 AL Championships. Also because supposedly booing your own overpaid players is bad; but only when Yankees fans do it.

We were spoiled by George and the late 1990s/early 2000s teams. George did everything in his power to win the WS. Money was no object. They had better managers and better farm system players that actually produced. They won 4 WS in 5 years. They have finished .500 or better (usually in 1st or 2nd place) in the Division since 1995. That's why we are frustrated with what Hal, Cashman, and Boone are doing to this team.

So here's what led to German leaving the team.

Quote:
On Tuesday evening of this week, German grew belligerent while in the clubhouse at Yankee Stadium, though there is no word of an altercation with a teammate or other individuals. Witnesses determined that German was under the influence of alcohol and did not appear in control of his emotions.
