If they eat no other salary going into 2024 please let it be Stanton’s as he no longer has anything to offer the Yankees.

I can't believe I'm admitting this, but I have officially stopped watching the games. Need another team to root for through October. Any suggestions?

Marlins are fun, they smashed the Dodgers tonight and the Rangers are legit. Lost tonight but came back from being down a bunch, definitely show fight that we don't seem to have.

Well they need to go 21-19 to avoid their first losing season in 30 years. What’s scary is even the teams I thought the Yankees were better than are no longer given wins.

Cincinnati called up Noelvi Marte.... Cincy has promoted ELDC/Steer/CES/Marte/Abbott/Williamson/McLain all this year, and remained competitive.

None of our prospects are on that level, but why on earth is that not a wake up call to give the kids a shot to play their way into the lineup. We should have been seeing long looks at Peraza, Florial, Pereira and more this season instead of McKinney/Bauers/Franchy, whatever other bums we were running out there, Greg Allen.....

I'm so over this organization, it's dumb

Florial at AAA this season - .290 with 23 HR, 19 SB
Pereira at AA/AAA this season - .300 with 16 HR, 9 SB
Peraza at AAA - .255/.344 with 13 HR, 14 SB, only got 52 sparing ABs in the majors

Instead of acquiring Spencer Howard and putting him on the 40-man why not give that spot to Will Warren who has pitched well at AAA and give him a shot at the majors

DFA Franchy, give Florial that spot.
DFA Greg Allen, give that spot to someone like Chapparo to see if he's any good at 1B......

Thanks, but I can't stomach the Rangers. Marlins are fun, especially for being perpetually underdogs, but I think I might gravitate toward the Mariners, if only because I love Seattle and think T-Mobile is a great park.

Due to bad contracts, signing bad players and a poor prospect development system
This team is going to be an embarrassment for every die hard Yankee fan for years to come
Their pitching rotation (outside of Cole) is a joke
Bullpen is very good but for how long because of overuse due to starters not going deep into games
The catching position has been a disaster since Posada
The outfield is a crap shoot except for Judge
The infield has its flaws and needs to be upgraded at a few positions
The bench is laughable
The lack of lefty hitters to take advantage of the short porch @yankee stadium is a head scratcher
It’s going to be a long dry spell…..get used to it unless management realizes their mistakes and looks to change their way of doing things

Cole proving to be anything but an ace today.

I know he's been their only bright spot all year but you'd hope he'd come through today. They've been nothing but crap and really needed him to shut down Boston. Oh well. Maybe he'll just take the same route as the rest of the team and sh#t the CY away.

I hate to admit it but I think I was right about him being a mental midget, has he ever come up big in a must win game for the Yankees.

I think today has taken him out of the race. his era is now over 3

The one thing the fans had to hang their hat on this year is pretty much gone. What a waste of a season.

Yup, no easy fixes. If Jasson develops more I could see a call up 2nd half next year, but still need 1b, 3b, c, cf, about 3 starters....

Bet Judge wishes he would’ve signed in San Fran. I know he’s being paid a lotta money, but I’m sure he thought they’d strengthen the roster around him, not surround him with these corpses.

Further from the playoffs than the mets and with a much worse farm system.

As a Yankees fan for sixty years I could never root for another team.

This team is unwatchable.

I still wish they had re-signed Brett Gardner; he would have been more productive than all of the outfielders except Judge. Brett also had an edge; I loved watching him getting mad; he hated losing and he didn't mind showing it.

This team has zero emotion and they are brain dead.

Gardner hit .222 with a sub .700 ops, he'd fit right in with this team. They don't need him, they need better players.

It feels like that miami game just broke them, but on the other hand this team really sucks compared to atl and bos.

I'm actually glad this is happening. Maybe Hal will actually step in and do something about it now. Cashman is the first person that needs to go. This is the team he put together and the money he spent on washed up vets.

His .222 BA and .700 OPS still would have been more productive than the present set of outfielders.

And to add the emotion he brings to the table.

Hal is Manfred in the same way Finkle is Einhorn. The only thing he's good at is being born to george.

I met a girl who sang the blues and I asked her for some happy news, she just smiled and turned away.

Okay guys it doesn’t look like this season is going to get any better so here is what I want to see.

Post any positive memory of Yankees baseball during your fandom whether it be in person or just seeing it on television. I have two.

First one was when I was living in New York in 1998 me and my wife were driving to the Staten Island ferry to go to work and one of the local radio stations was having a contest to win World Series tickets. They were having a contest where they were going to call a phone by the ferry terminal, my wife being the optimist said you want to try and win them and I was like my luck sucks but if you want to okay.

There were 2 phones we knew of in the area and my wife manned one while I manned the other. Her phone rang and she answered it with the appropriate response and we won 2 tickets to game 2 of the 1998 World Series a 9-2 victory and I still have the laniards and the ticket stubs. The only disappointment was I thought the seats would be better but we had fun with the bleacher creatures in right field. My wife also got to meet Danny Bonaducci as he of partridge family fame was the DJ at the radio station.

I will save the second one as this one took longer than I thought.
